In 1915, the Lake Burien Railway was completed, making the town much more accessible. This contributed to the rapid growth of the area, making Burien, WA what it is today.

Finally, Burien, WA is known for its access to the great outdoors, highlighted by Seahurst Park and Highline SeaTac Botanical Gardens.
