Along with keeping the historical appearance, the food is also delicately flavored to resemble the classic grills of old San Francisco and New York. As you scower the menu, you find all your favorites from chicken fried steak, to chicken pot pie, to grilled fresh calf's liver. All of the steaks and beef ribs on the menu are one hundred percent USDA prime. The cows are corn-fed for 150, before being hand-cut and aged to perfection. The seafood from the menu is so fresh, you'll wonder if they plucked it out of the sea just this morning, and each and every one of their oysters is plucked from the cleanest of water. Before the beef, try one of their delicious appetizers, including fried calamari, baked goat cheese with roasted garlic, seared ahi, oysters on the half-shell, grilled artichoke with basil aioli, or try their fresh smoked fish plate. You could also choose from one of their delicious soup or salad options, including their crab bisque and French onion soup, vine-ripened and bermuda onion or roasted beet salad, or try their soup of the day. After that, it's time for the steak, and you have plenty to choose from, including usually cuts like the sirloin, mignon, rib-eye, or New York Strip, or you can try their teriyaki sirloin, in their special teriyaki marinade, their culotte, the most tender part of the sirloin, or their Kansas City strip. If you're not in the mood for a steak, there's plenty of seafood to choose from, from swordfish, to salmon, to seared ahi tuna, as well as fresh Australian lobster tail or linguini and shrimp. For a place to relax, take a seat in the gazebo, or take a walk over to the gorgeous fountain which lies at the middle of the garden. The park was opened in the mid to late-nineteen twenties, and walking through, you'll notice that not much has changed over the years, keeping the feel of a tranquil oasis amongst the maddening crowd, full of beauty and wonder. It's difficult to explore the beauty of nature in the heart of the city, but the Exposition Rose Garden allows visitors a chance to do that very thing. Apartment-ites looking for a release from all the pressure of city life need to take a short walk or drive down to this Los Angeles sanctuary of peace and relaxation, but be careful, you may never want to leave.
