Near the tip of a slender finger of land, Point Loma, that juts out from the city of San Diego is a beautiful university dedicated to "teach, shape, and send" its students; this is Point Loma Nazarene University. A small campus of around 3,000 students allows an excellent student to teacher ratio for an enriching, quality education.
50 undergraduate degree plans, as well as master's programs are offered in an environment that encourages students to pursue life goals. Spiritual, cultural and artistic literacy are emphasized at Point Loma, to round out an individual's basic thinking skill set.
Eight schools of study are provided in the College of Arts and Sciences, including Biology and Chemistry for the pre-med major, Art and Design and Music, Department of Literature, Journalism and Modern Languages, and the Department of Theology and Christian Ministry.
