drawers it was obvious this place had an infestation for years. There was roach feces all over the inside of the cupoards and drawers and it had that faint roach smell. It was disgusting. If you opened and closed the drawers it would sprinkle the roach feces into the bottom cupboards. I contacted the property management company and they were annoyed that I called about this issue. They sent a cleaning lady who came and saw the state of the wood, called and let them know she really couldn't do much. I heard the woman from the office tell her "She should have checked before she signed the lease." She left and after another week they sent a handyman. He claimed he didn't know how to remove the drawers to scrub off the roach feces and just tried to crudely spray paint over the feces. I saw the building owner outside one day and I tried to talk to him and he stopped me and told me I'm not allowed to talk to him. So then I'm going back and forth with the office trying to get them to fix it and I don't get anywhere. In the end I figured out how to remove the drawers in 15 minutes and scrubbed, sanded, and repainted the drawers and cupboards. All of that taking up time and my own money. I still refuse to use the drawers. I've just been patiently waiting for my lease to be up. The roach smell I could never get rid of. I would never rent from Nationwide Property Management again.
