wallpaper at the time). The hardwood floors were pretty beat up. The carpeting in the hallway was absolutely disgusting. There was broken glass all over the fire escape when I lived there. It had a flat roof and hobos slept there at night (I remember finding blankets up there once). There was a dumpster right outside my window, and every morning the same hobo would go through it. It was right next to the fire station, but that really wasn't every problematic for me. It used to have free parking spaces but parking meters were put up. Someone tried to break into my apartment on at least one occasion. Even though I moved out and moved onto greener pastures, I still sometimes have bad dreams about this rundown place, but it's even more deteriorated now. Interestingly, this building is over 100 years old. i say either fix it or get rid of it. It is an eyesore at the present time.
