the problem the first time. I've had multiple events in the summer heat with the a/c cutting out and my guests having to leave (I stayed in a hotel) because the apartment was too hot to stay in. The walls are also paper thin and you definitely will know when your neighbors are doing something... Also, the floors were incredibly squeaky upstairs, etc. Whatever, I had agreed to accept this. Upon moving out, I realized the manager wrote down that the carpet (the same old carpet I requested to be changed upon moving in and he said the best they could do is clean it) - was new and I was to be charged to clean it (later on my bill, they replaced it with laminate and are charging me for the replacement). All the problems we had mentioned about upon moving in were taken out of my deposit to fix/change... Also, I was off lease and month to month (stayed here almost 2 years) and upon giving him 30 days notice was told I cannot leave when I wanted to and had to pay full month regardless of when I give notice. I actually had to pull up the laws and send it to him. If you must live here, be very careful about what he writes down on your move in. Don't expect things to be done in a timely manner (I've even had my own plumber/friend come in on multiple occasions to fix things for me that I couldn't deal with). Expect him to request access to your apartment every 3 months to repaint the patios so it doesn't keep leaking on the first floor apartments (rather than fixing the problem), and hoping you'll be there so he doesn't have to be. Turning off the water around noon once a month so his micky mouse plumber can do something. and understand this place is not even as decent as you might think. Also, cars have been broken into at this apartment complex, including mine and things are constantly stolen from the garage.
