share at a frat house. There can be many disturbances at night that may wake you or leave you unable to sleep. Anything loud music at midnight to people yelling in the middle of the night to garbage trucks and construction before 8 AM even hits. Even a nap in the middle of the day can be rough given the ice cream truck that drives by constantly. Many features of studios seem to have been designed to specifically increase the rent they can charge without giving any actual benefits. There is a full kitchen but it is basically an arm span wide which makes it difficult to cook. Free wireless internet comes with the rent but it is nearly useless as it goes in and out with a speed close to dial-up. The bath is bigger than necessary. Likewise, the amount of storage is disproportionate to the apartment size. On to the good stuff! The complex is well kept and Maria, the manager, is very helpful and responsive. There are many great things within walking and driving distance. My favorite thing is the Mexican market literally across the street. The taquerias in the area are great as well. Lastly, the other tenants are all very respectful and mostly just keep to themselves. Pros: -Full kitchen -Full bath with tub -Lots of storage -Covered parking in a gate garage -Responsive manager -Respectful tenants -Well maintained complex -Near a lot of places (the market across the street is great!) Cons: -Disruptive noises at night very often -Kitchen is very small -Bathroom is disproportionately large -It can get very hot in apartment and difficult to cool down -Provided wireless internet is useless I give the place 2 stars mostly because of the noise and the ever increasing rent. While the place is conveniently close to many things, I find it more appealing to commute after living here. That said, if you aren’t worried about the cons and are willing to pay extra for the convenience this place may be the place for you!
