for 4, smoker/bar-b-que, that sits upon beautiful pavers outlined with jasmine and 12 different kinds of herbs. There is a full garden that even climbs the block wall of the next door apartment complex. The garden includes: 3 different kinds of basil, lemon grass and lemon balm, spearmint, peppermint, 4 different kinds of tomatoes, 5 different kinds of peppers, 2 kinds of lettuce, 2 kinds of kale, grapes, strawberries and this year I even have cantaloupe. The herbs, peppers, and lettuce are grown in baskets that hang on the block wall. Next to the basket is the top of an art deco theatre sign, which hangs between two jasmine plants in pots and vine up the wall to the apartments above. The old theatre sign top is filled with tea lights that when lit with the strands of star lights, white Christmas lights, and large white light bulbs all to create a warm and inviting space when entertaining. Inside the small one bedroom, the walls are painted in colorful beauty. The kitchen is orange and green with original art from fruit and vegetable box creates on the walls. The living room with the olive green walls and my bright red sofa all blend to create a warm welcome when entering. People are greeted with a well thought out color pallet that is set apart by original photographs from my adventures as a concert photographer. In the bedroom, the artwork for a dry brushed and sponge antiqued treatment in brownish purple and gray with white window scarves atop dark wood blinds make this my sanctuary. This is not my rental apartment this is my home that I love and is an open and inviting space of love, peace and happiness.
