We have been living at the Alexan for around 11 months now and we have enjoyed our stay throughout. The facilities are great right in the centre of Mills 50.

Great amenities. But change in management / staff is concerning. Too many apps to use for paying rent, communication, etc. Mold in bathroom.

It’s an ok place to live. Parking of course has always been an issue for visitors. The key fobs just decide not to work randomly then you end up locked out if it’s after hours. The increase in rent with each renewal has been the most mind blowing. I’ve never lived anywhere that increases the rent to the extent that they do here.

Apartment is clean and the amenities are great. Staff is very helpful when there are any issues or maintenance problems. Community events are a great way to meet everyone in the building.

The building is beautiful and the staff is so welcoming and helpful! Maintenance staff is the best there is, they are so quick with handling any service requests that you make. The online portals are a breeze!

The facilities management team, especially Roger, are the best people. Unfortunately, there have been so many technical issues with elevators and electronic door locks in the past 12 months I couldn’t bring myself to recommend this property to anyone else.

The leasing managers, maintenance team and other staff have been awesome and understanding. The leasing managers were very supportive at getting me and my roommate the unit we wanted and made us feel very welcome. I’ve lived here basically since the beginning of this apartment opening so I’ve picked up on quite a few things to say about my experience. I will say, that this community is very expensive for what it is. The amenities are awesome and the building is great except for the thin walls and ...
floors. I will just be pulling chairs to eat dinner and my downstairs neighbor already made two complaints. So for anyone that works late shifts, this isn’t an ideal complex to come home to or choose first floor units if you could. Also, do NOT pick the units facing East Colonial unless you’re ok with hearing cars pass and honk all night! I could go on and on about my experience but the 3 stars should say enough as I’m close to my character limit.
