March 29, 2026I applied for an apartment here and paid the required application fees, but after two weeks, I have received no update regarding approval or denial. I have called multiple times, and each time I am told that the property manager will return my call. This has not happened once. Communication has been consistently poor, and no one I’ve spoken with has been able to provide any meaningful assistance or timeline. During my most recent call, the staff member was dismissive, interrupted my questions, ...and did not attempt to resolve the issue. At this point, the lack of communication and follow-through is unacceptable. Charging applicants upfront while failing to provide even basic updates reflects very poorly on how this property is managed. WORST APARTMENT EXPERIENCE EVER
September 22, 2025Living at Alta Mar has been a very bad experience. The apartments have serious problems — rats, ceiling leaks, and an AC that only works part of the time. Maintenance rarely responds, and management does not return calls or follow up on issues. The amenities they advertise are also in terrible condition: the pools have been broken for years, and the on-site laundry centers are dirty, messy, smell terrible, and often don’t work. To make matters worse, I moved out over three months ago and still ...have not received my security deposit. No one will give me updates, the manager refuses to speak with me, and I cannot get any contact information for anyone above the on-site management. It feels impossible to get help or answers. Overall, this has been a very frustrating and disappointing experience, and I would strongly caution anyone considering moving hereProperty Manager Responded

Worst apartment ever
January 29, 2025Bad rats I had no A/C my sink was broke for 2 months my air was broke for 4 months and I was told they would come and fix it and they never fix nothing the rats was so bad I can hear the rats in the walls I had mold in my living room run ! Don’t live here !Property Manager Responded

DONT MOVE HERE!!
August 18, 2024Pools have been broken for 4 years no amenities whatsoever and rent continues to increase. Maintenance is a joke useless putting request in to fix anything. The property is disgusting on a daily. Considering moving into one bedroom just to get out of this hell hole.Property Manager Responded

Not a good place to live
March 21, 2023Trash all over the parking lot. Trash in front of your doors office doesn’t respond to your maintenance request swimming pool hasn’t worked in two years since Covid. None of the amenities work laundry facilities are always dirty. Always want their rent paid on time, but never take care of any of the issues that you have And everybody smokes weed and their apartments which come through your vents and the management company doesn’t do anything about itProperty Manager Responded

Poorly Managed
July 11, 2019The company that manages Alta Mar at Broadwater (Pacifica Companies, LLC) is the worst company I've ever dealt with in my life. I lived at Alta Mar at Broadwater for 2 years. During this time I always paid on time and kept my apartment in good condition. A month after my lease ended I called Alta Mar to get an update on when my security deposit would be returned. The site staff member notified me that they had sent all of my information over to the management company (Pacifica Companies, LLC) ...and they would be issuing the check. She provided me with a phone number to reach out to them. After calling daily for a week I finally received an email from Cesar a "Business Manager" with Pacifica Companies saying my refund check had been processed and would be "out to me shortly" and he would provide tracking. Fast forward 35 days and nothing has been sent, no further response from email and no one at Pacifica Companies will provide any follow-up information. I went back to the site staff at Alta Mar at Broadwater for assistance in finding out the status of my refund and they said there was nothing they could do. The site staff member said they don't have a point of contact at Pacifica Companies that they could contact to get an update. That should be a huge RED FLAG for anyone interested in living at Alta Mar at Broadwater. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND looking elsewhere for an apartment solely based on the management companies lack of professionalism and poor business ethics.Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com
Rats, Rats, Rats, Everywhere!
November 29, 2016I live in building 16 and there are always rats showing up inside my apartment. They are chewing on everything. Outside there is rat droppings that are falling out of the roof on to the stairs. No one does anything about the rats. It is unhealthy living. I have never had to live like this before. You call the front desk and no one answers. You leave messages and no one returns your calls. If you go into the office the managers do nothing but add you to a list and then the pest control does ...nothing. I can't wait until my lease is up. Maintenance Sucks!
August 9, 2015The Complex is becoming very nice as they are trying to make it better with minor Renovations. I always say that they're working on the outside and Increasing the Rent but never doing any Work inside the Apartment. When there's a Problem and you call for Maintenance it takes forever to have them fix it as also some things they just put a bandaid on so after a while it becomes a eye sore!
