Poor management
April 16, 2024The leasing office is never open. If you need anything fixed, you have to put a work order in online that takes 7 to 10 days. The clubhouse is never open. There is no fitness room the washer and dryer never work. The parking situation is ridiculous. You can’t have visitors between 11 pm and 7 AM or their cars will be towed even if parked in visitors. She will not give you your deposit back even if your unit is cleaned. My ceiling was falling down due to the second floors toilet leaking she ...refused to fix it. You are not allowed to decorate for any kind of holiday outside your apartment nothing on the doors nothing on the windows the pool is never openLeer MásReseña de Apartments.com

August 4, 2022I was to lease a apartment. Put up holding fee. Had given notice to my previous landlord. I was approved. I had gotten my mailing address changed including unit # electric transferred, WiFi. Had packages delivered. The day of the move in. I had gotten all the money orders, in the amount specified to sign lease. I had rented and loaded truck, hired mover’s and prepared to move in. I was told at that time that the air conditioning unit wasn’t working properly and that it could take up to three ...weeks or longer to get new one. Must be getting it from around the world for it to take that long.That I was not able to move in. I was offered another unit which I viewed in the past and turned down because of it’s substandard conditions. To name a few, roach problems, dishwasher that is so rusty that you can hardly open. Not clean and has a Odor.about it. Etc… of course I said no again. Which seemed to have made them angry or attitude . They had some upgraded units. they were asking more for them . Which is understandable. I asked if we could workout something with them. I was told no, didn’t even consider it. Maybe because they would loose the commission for new lease, worth more commission. And if it did not go through for some reason. They keep your application and administration fee. Remember the truck is loaded, mover’s hired and paying for additional days. At this point I had know place to go, a loaded rental truck which I had to keep for additional days and had hired movers. I asked if I could just put my things in, if so. I would be willing to wait until unit came in. told no again. I offered to purchase a room air condition. That wouldn’t work either. After all of that. And not agreeing to their terms. I was told that I was trouble and that I’m no longer welcome. Knowing that I had no place to go. Staying with friend now paying for storage and searching for a place to live. I would give a negative 5. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I was also told by present tenants that the management does a poor job. September 30, 2021The grounds are a mess. The rent is ridiculous for what you get. Their ads are a lie. The have no clubhouse or fitness room. They are NOT pet friendly as they are refusing to renew the lease of anyone with a pet of any kind. Even if the tenant has lived here for years. They left holes in a tenants wall for over a year. August 23, 2018I love living at Arbors. Living near downtown, shopping and the beach but still affordable! Hard to find in the area!! Great location. Staff is very nice, good maintenance and the community always looks clean. It's not a new community so the rooms are so much bigger and you don't hear your neighbors because of paper thin walls!.Reseña de Apartments.com
Stay away
December 12, 2017This place is DISGUSTING! The chronic roach problem remains unresolved because whoever owns this place couldn't care less about providing her tenants with decent living accommodations. I have never had a roach in any home I've lived in. Ever. The exterminator comes every two weeks and there's still an issue. I've even seen them in the bedroom. The ground are filthy. There's always trash lying around and dirty kids screaming outside. The buildings are falling apart; I was told numerous times ...they would powerwash the filth but it never got done. In terms of landscaping, only the grass is cut. There is a lot of leaf litter that just rots in common areas. The turnover here is incredible - the apartment across from us has had about 3 tenants in the past year. I think it's mostly to due with the high tent for what you get here. I have the only updated apartment which is really "nice", but the others are dilapidated. The leasing agent said they were in the process of updating the development when I moved in - I've seen no such thing. The pool is only open in from May- October - although the leasing agent lied and said it only closes on cold days - there was lots of deception before we signed the lease. One positive - it's safe. I haven't had anything stolen and I see kids leave their bikes around with no issues. So if you don't mind living with filthy roaches and trash everywhere, then by all means, rent here. They do what they can
August 30, 2015I've been here over a year. Some things get taken care of and some don't. The gym and clubhouse are always shut because of kids. So, they just felt it was easier to close it then to keep it up and let responsible users keep using it. I'm not interested in staying after my lease is up.Reseña de Apartments.com
