Strongly Caution Against This Property
November 8, 2017Initially, living in this complex was alright; we knew who the maintenance people were (it was posted in each building), leasing agents were prompt and service calls were met in a timely manner. In the last 6 months since the building has been bought, communication has declined, costs have increased and repairs are superficially made. We found out the electricity in the kitchen isn't grounded when our stove broke and it took them 5 days (Friday to Wednesday) to get a contracted repair person out, ...our water heater was leaking gas for two hours after the pilot light mechanism was "repaired," and when I requested a slow drain be fixed I was told it was the "tenants' problem" and if I wanted it "fixed," I would have to pay an additional fee. There is 1 "handicap accessible" parking spot for 38 units, but it's really just a regular spot that they used blue paint to signify that it's for accessibility and there is NO RAMP from the lot to any of the units. If you use mobility devices this is not an accessible property. There are numerous leaks in the roof and not only is there mold built up in our cabinet, but water in the "storage shed" on the balcony that seeped through some of our storage containers. Has gone downhill
July 13, 2017If you are a person who likes to be treated respectfully and have things fixed, and feel safe in your environment, I caution you about these apartments. I've lived here almost five years, the previous 4. 1/2 when owned and managed by Reverie Estates. Those 4 1/2 years were great, that's why I've stayed. New owner and local management by PMI Midwest, and now I'm on my way out. That's all I will say.Reseña de Apartments.com
