I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Autumn Park Apartments and its management. I rented an apartment in 2016 - 2023, and the handling of my security deposit has been a nightmare.
After moving out, they sent my security deposit check in April 2024, but I was not home when it was delivered, and USPS returned it to the sender. Despite multiple follow-ups with the management team, they failed to take any responsibility or action. The check was lost, and I was repeatedly told I’d need to ...
wait for it to be returned before they would issue a new one. I even agreed to have a new check issued with a $35 fee deducted, yet months have passed, and I still haven't received it.
For nearly **6 months**, I’ve called weekly and visited their office, only to receive excuses and unhelpful responses, saying “we are at the MERCY OF FIELDSTONE( the owner/landlord based in Nj) We can’t do anything about it. “The level of communication and service is unacceptable. This ongoing situation has caused immense stress, and I would not recommend renting here unless you're prepared for serious issues with getting your security deposit back.
Their unprofessional handling of my security deposit and lack of concern for tenants has been deeply frustrating. **Avoid this place if you value good customer service and proper handling of your money.**
