    Will walk in on you without notice while sleeping and call you a liar when confronted. Didn’t even leave a note that they were there. Found other residents with similar situations even tho Lindsay the property manager said it was unheard of and “impossible”. When we moved in we noticed the patio door was broken and requested it to be fixed multiple times over two years. Just to be ignored or told they’d have a new one in 2 months just for nothing to happen. Can’t choose own internet and you’re ...
    stuck with the worst internet you could buy even after paying for the higher speed. The property would at times refuse to pay the garbage service and will let all the dumpsters overflow for weeks.

    So as soon as I moved in I thought it was weird that the internet is controlled by them but as long as it was stable it would be fine but no the internet is awful. Basically every day at 2 the internet slows down to a crawl and even my computer that is plugged into the router via ethernet cable has a hard time loading Google. I have lost all courtesy for this place mainly because I work from home and can't work some days once 2 o'clock hits. I was charged fees out of nowhere and when I brought it ...
    up they told me that it shouldn't be happening but that I wouldn't get my money back because corporate won't approve it. While the property looks fine from the outside they are just the worst on the inside. Do not live here if you have a choice. They charge the most outrageous price for internet I've ever seen and yet it doesn't work. Literally $75 for 100 megabits per second and it never reaches that speed at most you get 70 even over ethernet. Then there is the fact that you are stuck with the incompetent and overpriced AES for electricity and they tried to have me get my ID and social notarized by a bank only for me to find out it is illegal for the bank to do so, plus all they needed was a picture of the ID not even of the social and it didn't need to be notarized. Everything about this complex backs you into a corner and forces you to use awful services and companies just for a place to live that besides having a good-looking exterior absolutely sucks when you end up living here. I have reported to them multiple times about maintenance issues that I have never heard back about or when I do hear anything about my maintenance request it's that they claim to have completed it without having done anything not even shown up to the apartment, nothing. This is the most aggravating place I have ever lived. As I'm writing this it is the 6th time in the last 4 weeks that my internet just completely stops for over 3 hours and is completely unusable. They do not care about you and the "Part of your life" BS they say when you talk to them is them warning you they will be the worst part of your life for however long you have the displeasure of living in this Hell hole. Seriously do not live here it is awful, they will lie to you and only perform repairs to the exterior and never solve any problems you have no matter how big or small. I'm genuinely convinced they hate their residents. DO NOT LIVE HERE

  • Poor internet, risk to the health and safety of your pets, and little communication

    I've lived here for two years, and it has been the most exhausting experiences I have ever had dealing with an apartment. The internet is pathetic. We pay for the highest tier plan for $75/month, which nets us "up to 100Mbps". It rarely breaks 70Mbps. Soon after we moved in, the internet started dropping out with no clear warning, then took minutes to reconnect. Sometimes it would do this over and over for hours. We reported this in August 2021. Both my partner and I did troubleshooting and ...
    provided logs of our connection outages that showed that the issue was with the modem. Maintenance came in countless times, tested the modem, said "it's working" and blamed the router. We were using our own modem, so after getting this response multiple times we rented a modem in June 2022 to rule out the issue being with our equipment. They continued and we reported it again. I emailed the office 3 times in the course of a week and received no response. Finally, the property manager said they would order a router that monitors our internet connectivity. Then the property manager ghosted us for a month, ignoring my attempts to see if the router had come in. My partner printed all of our emails and gone into the office to show them how much work we've done to try getting this issue fixed and how little help we've had from them. In August 2022, a year after our first report, we got an update. They hooked up a direct line and identified several issues with our connection from the wall socket, and things finally started working. Except for the outages, which happen every few months. As of writing, the entire complex is on day six without internet. The maintenance team have NO respect for our space. On multiple occasions, we've come home to find tables moved, multiple things knocked off our shelves, and blinds lying on the ground. My partner came home to two metal hooks that had been left near the ground and one of our cats playing with it, and it's unbelievably lucky for us that he didn't swallow it. We reported all of this to the front office, and were told that it would not happen again. The next time I submitted a maintenance request, I told them they did not have permission to enter and wrote in all caps what days we would not be home. The next day I got an email that they'd let themselves in to replace a light bulb. After everything the maintenance staff had done, they ignored my unbelievably clear request and violated our personal space and our lease

  • Great First Apartment

    My girlfriend and I moved here for our first apartment together. The community itself is in a great place. Lots of shopping and restaurants within a 5 minute drive. Right off 75 but surprisingly little noise. The office staff is very accommodating and helpful especially with all of our questions and our service dog. Made our moving experience simple and stress free. Apartment is small, but around what you’d expect for the price and location. But it’s well worth it because of the pool, pond, ...
    basketball and tennis courts and laundry facilities. Neighbors tend to keep to themselves. The office tries to plan events for the community but not many people participate which is unfortunate.. the office truly cares about the residents but a lot of people don’t seem to appreciate it. Lots of grass and trees, and right behind our apartment building there is nice semi-enclosed green space with lots of trees. Our dog loves to run around back there and play with the other neighborhood pups. But of course, not everything is amazing at Autumn Woods... maintenance is awful and just doesn’t care about getting things fixed. We’ve called about multiple issues in the past 5 months and only once can I confidently say the problem was resolved... and it was only because it was something that was broken before we even moved in. And recently there’s been a spree of car break-ins in the community, including my car. (However, the office and the Miami Township Police seem to be working together to catch whoever is doing it). I never felt unsafe in Autumn Woods though. Also, Autumn Woods doesn’t give you a choice of what WiFi service to use.. its overpriced and unreliable. I can’t play video games or do things that require WiFi without major slowdowns. Overall, if you’re looking for a good first apartment, Autumn Woods is a great choice! Peaceful community in an ideal location. The few problems we have had aren’t deal breakers. Once our lease is up, we won’t be staying.. ONLY because we just need more space. We couldn’t have asked for more in our first apartment! Check this place out!

    The staff is not very informed on the polices of the complex. Also the complex does nothing on the weekend for residents; does fix anything or have staff

  • Its not Bad but better apartments available in area for same price range

    -Appliance are old. -not a gated community -Insulation is not proper so you end up paying higher electric bill for AC. -Staff is nice and responsive. - Tennis Court(court pitch/surface cracked) - GYM is available(for show case only not useful.Smaller than a studio Apartment) - Onsite Laundry with enough machines Its OK but search in near by area. You may get better apartmenst for same/lower price...
