We have been here for only 6 days, and it has been a complete nightmare. Please consider that we had to drive over 20 HOURS from Florida to get here. The first impression was ruined because even though we were told that moving in on a Sunday would not be problem, they were closed because they were “slow”, and the manager sent the one person in the office home. You would think they’d have a list of people that were moving in on that day so someone would be in the office. The assistant property

Starting at the door, it looked like it had been kicked in with multiple dirty footprints on the door and a broken lock and nearly broken doorknob, but we were told it was “secured”. There was a distinct smell as soon as we walked through the door that would later reveal a nasty roach infestation, and I’m talking HUNDREDS. They were coming out of every crack, crevice and drain. We had to spend money on a hotel for two nights waiting to be “approved” to be moved to a different unit. It just went from horrible to nightmare fuel. While in the new unit and cleaning the first night, we noticed banging coming from the wall and rightfully assumed it was just our next-door neighbor. We still saw a few roaches but not as bad as the first unit, the second night in the unit turned our stomach all the way over. As we’re relaxing, we hear more banging but this time it is coming directly from the kitchen. As I’m investigating, a rat runs through our kitchen and the soul left my body. RATS ARE IN THE WALL. Later the property manager also exposed that there could also be POSSUMS IN THE WALL. We have pictures and video evidence not only of the infestations, but also unprofessionalism like sending a “maintenance” man that does not work at the property to come into our apartment and “fix” things that are still not fully fixed, the assistant property manager stating VERBATIM that she only has urgency to fix our apartment because it is right next door to her daughters. So not caring about the other resident’s situation and safety, but also wanting to make us pay over $4000 to get out of a lease because our situation is unsafe and uninhabitable. This place is making me physically sick because the airways are disgusting and now, I have developed a very bad cough, and it could progress if I continue to stay here. This place has to be THE WORST PLACE in San Antonio, and they should not be receiving any more business or future residents.
