    My daughter and her roommate are current tenants at Beacon point. Their air conditioning went out the first week of May and it is STILL out. The manager's solution was to put a window unit in ONE of the bedrooms, meaning the two roommates have to share a room. They have repeatedly asked for updates on the repair and have been ignored. They are still paying full rent on a two bedroom apartment, but only getting the use of one bedroom. The communication is all one sided, and unless the roommates ...
    take off work to go to the office in person, their inquiries are met with crickets. When they do take time to meet face to face they are met with excuses and rudeness. If you drive through the complex you will see NUMEROUS apartments with window units in them which indicates that they do not keep up with the servicing of these AC units. These are two young ladies doing their best to be responsible and respectful adults and they are clearly being taken advantage of. Stay away from these apartments.

    First and foremost, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX. I am a disabled Air Force veteran. I moved here to Beacon Point Apartments (Texarkana, Arkansas) from VA in February of 2020. The apartments themselves are nice. Management is a different story and it goes up the chain of command to Corporate. They do not care about their residents at all. They care only about the money they make from their residents. The entire time I was there nothing got fixed, management had attitudes, the phones ...
    in the office was taken off the hook. Yes, when you first move in they seem nice. This year when it snowed, Beacon Point shut the water off. That isn't the bad part. The bad part is when this took place for over two weeks. Everyone was snowed in unless you had a truck with AWD. The thing that that got to me is how management refused to be transparent with the residents. They closed the office doors, took the phones off the hook, and never checked on senior citizens, single parents or disabled folks. They sent out a sorry excuse through writing after it was all said and done. The potholes that were there when I moved in only continue to get bigger to this day. When I moved in, the basketball court and pool were closed. Well now, they have taken the basketball court completely away and the pool is STILL closed. In my apartment the day I moved in, I saw a painted over water mark on my ceiling in the kitchen. It started to leak right after moving. I lie to you not. I put in over 10 request for that very problem. To this day (I moved out today), that spot has STILL not been fixed. The last thing that told me it was time to go, was the day before my renewal I got a call from Erica (worse attitude and very unprofessional) from the office telling me my rent would go up over $100. That didn't fly. I know what my lease stated and I was at that point completely over everything. If you wish to keep your sanity, MOVE ELSEWHERE!!!!!
