PROS:
-The maintenance team always responded quickly to any issues that we had.
-Kitchens are nice (granite countertops, lots of counter space, etc).
-Gym is pretty good (yet crowded and without actual weight machines)
CONS:
-walls are SUPER thin. I heard the neighbors I share a wall with talking, using the bathroom ,and even yawning!! With my above neighbors I heard a constant stampede (even if they were average sized). For the price , there should be more wall insulation.
-They charge extra
...per month to use a single trash compactor, whereas other places have this plus other trash amenities included
-Not enough parking
-In the summer you get a constant onslaught of centipedes (so if you like vacuuming multiple times a day then maybe this place is for you).
-All-air HVAC systems are bunched together (8+) and placed a foot away from the windows of some bedrooms . If you are unlucky enough to have an apartment in front of them, good luck sleeping with them buzzing on and off all year. In the winter, when ice gets stuck in them, it sounds like a construction drill. Again, better insulation would help mute the sound, as well as a smarter apartment design (do not group so many right next to bedrooms!).
So in summary, yes this place looks new and shiny on the outside, but I would overall recommend that you look elsewhere.
