    They charged $500 plus to replace carpet simply because I had a pet. Made false claims about pet urine. Doesn’t matter how pristine you keep the carpet

      Thank you for your prior residency and providing feedback on your stay. We understand that the consequences of damage beyond normal wear (including pet-related damage), especially the additional expense, is never desirable; therefore, we provide ample notification before signing of the lease that a move-out inspection determination (including by way of conspicuous olfactory evidence) of excess damage will have to be charged accordingly. Final decisions on questionable carpet are made by escalating the case to our carpet contractor when it provides the professional judgment and calculations regarding repair or replacement. We explain this so the outgoing resident is aware of the process. The purpose of this is to ensure incoming residents move to a comfortable, pleasing apartment they enjoy calling “home”. A cornerstone of our management provider is integrity, so in keeping true to that guiding principle, our team here at Birdneck Village is purposefully transparent about this. We never ...

    Best apartment we've ever lived in. If you are looking to bike and walk around this is the community for you. We loved the area. we felt safe and everyone is friendly! If you live here you can walk to everything at the oceanfront: The library, Farm Fresh, Harris teeter, restaurants, shops, fishing pier, mini golf, at the beach (less than 8 blocks away!). Just around the corner about two miles away you can get to a Walmart, Aldi, Pharmacy, Target, ect. You would be right in Old Beach Village! ...
    Trust me, it's the best! When you walk to the beach, take 25th. You will be greeted with many homeowners who will wave at you and even some will stop to talk to you. At night in the summer there are street performers at the ocean front as well as concerts, art shows...and its all free! This is the best place to live for the money and the good times! With two children we had a blast: Bodyboarding, surfing, biking, walking to the store and library, singers and magicians on the street in the summer. Birdneck Village apartments has a workout center, huge pool, tennis courts, bike racks, storage, and the staff and management are awesome! Many days, we were greeted with friendly maintenance staff who would stop and take the time to chat for a few minutes. We got to know many by name because they were so kind! Candy runs the fix-it side and she is super nice and will take care of you! The whole time we were there, we only met 1 grumpy worker (everyone has a bad day sometimes though) Cindy runs the front office. She is the best manager we have ever dealt with. She's quick to please and smart as a whip! Unlike other apartments, she treats you like the paying customer you are. She understands that customer satisfaction is key. She went above and beyond the call of duty to take care of any concerns we had. Also, in the front office you will be greeted with personable, professional ladies who make you feel very welcome. Your concerns will be their concerns. Edna is a doll and Donna is sweet! We would still be living there, but we transferred. Thankfully, Cindy made what is usually a stressful time a breeze! We are going to miss it there. This is the only apartment community I would recommend. We LOVED it here. We only got into the car like once a week. Seriously. Go visit and walk around you will see. There are even eateries, coffee shops, gift shops, tackle shops, surf shop, ect. on the way down and around to Ocean Front Library.

    So this morning as I am going to work I see the three ladies from the front office standing outside. Do you know they were out in the 47 degree weather to hand out bagels and donuts. AMAZING!!! I have never seen this done before especially in that type of weather. Makes me very happy that they took the time for us.

    I have lived here for almost 1 year, and have just extended my lease for a second year. You can't beat this price and location to the beach. The maintenance staff have been very quick and responsive to the few minor issues that we have had, and the office staff is very friendly. My only complaint would be the parking, it can fill up late at night and on the weekends.

    My name is Brad and have been living in Birdneck Village for about a year, We think the staff is great. They have an open door policy and are always helpful when addressing concerns or questions we might have. The apartments are spacious and have a lot to offer any family thinking of residing in Virginia Beach. Also, I have been living in apartments most of my life and the maintenance staff is about the best I have ever seen. I am convinced the best is yet to come with the new renovations.

    I have lived here for close to two years and if you have the proper mind set about apartment living you will be fine. It is predominately military and family however me and my roommate are both single college students and we have stayed very happily here. It is nice sized two bedroom apartment w/ washer and dryer the apartment has nice sized windows which provide good lighting. The one drawback is how the washer and dryer are setup in the bathroom it's very odd since they are not stackable. The ...
    staff and maintenance are courteous and helpful they even know be me by name. Although I intend to move at the end of this year I have enjoyed myself immensely.

    Pretty good apartments big rooms,closets average price for area, only negative points are gym is only open until 11 pm, the pool hours are bad and closed on Mondays, and the walls are thin can hear what neighbors are doing both upstairs and to the side. Overall good apartments.

    This place is so great!! My husband, niece & I have been living here for about 5 years now and we love it. The apartment is so spacious. My favorite thing about it is the huge ceiling to floor windows. Also the porch is so cute and comfy. The amenities are great, there is the gym, the pool, tennis court, and multiple laundry rooms. All the employees here are also so wonderful and friendly. I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone!!

    I have lived in this complex for almost 5 years and will probably be here for a few more years. I looked all over my city for something decent but reasonably priced and found my match!!! My apartment is spacious, the floor plan flows nicely, water is included, and I love my large kitchen with a gas range. The complex has a large pool, nice fitness center, and lots of parking. The best part, it's super close to the beach!!!
