The walls are VERY thin, you can even hear when your neighbors sneeze. In the Winter, every 3 hours you hear the clanging and banging of the radiator. (btw you have NO control over the heat.). The parking
...situation is atrocious, if you’re a 2-car family don’t even bother—parking isn’t assigned and spaces are all filled everyday at 4pm.
They’ve had personnel shortages in maintenance for at least 3 years, so they’ll tell you that only emergencies will grant you a visit from a maintenance/facility worker.
The office staff will be super sweet and really nice when trying to present the illusion of a friendly and competent team…before you move in.
—After you move in you’re treated like garbage. They will take every opportunity to be condescending and rude.—pay attention to their tone when answering the phones.
If you have no other option, and you NEED to live here, take my advice and document EVERYTHING. These people are just looking for a reason to evict you or keep your security deposit. Force them to show you the apartment before you move in, they’ll tell you it won’t be ready to view before your move-in date. Do not live close to any dumpsters because trash gets taken out at 7am on the weekends and the truck will wake you up. Lock your doors at ALL times and be careful walking around at night because skunks will get you.
