Wonderful Apartments
August 22, 2020Moved in about a month ago, absolutely love the environment and the apartment. It was very stressful moving into a new place, however, Melissa has done everything to welcome us to our new home, she has always been polite and caring about all of our needs! Maintenance has been great as well, they always come within 24 hours of our service request with great attitudes and helpful advice! They also have a great pool and fitness gym. Life at Brookstone
February 15, 2019I love living at Brookstone Apartments because I feel safe here. Future residence are thoroughly vetted before being approved as a resident and there are many police officers that live in the complex. The residents are very friendly and the office staff is amazing. There's always some type of an event being held in the clubhouse to get the residence together and getting to know each other. February 15, 2019I having been living in Brookstone apartments for about 3 years and I love it, it's the best complex I ever lived at, its very clean and well taken care of. when I've had major or minor issues with my apartment the maintenance guys took care or the problem in a very good time frame and the staff members are great. NO REGRETS!!! 1.5 years later...
February 15, 2019My husband and I moved from Massachusetts to Rock Hill on Oct 2nd of 2017 from a single family home with a plan to be at Brookstone for the first year in SC and purchasing. Welp we are still here... Why? because its a wonderful place to live, convenient and the staff is professional, porficient and polite. The grounds are are beautiful, constantly maintained and consistently upgraded. The reviews I read about old management, responsiveness, cleanliness and the leasing office's interaction ...almost made me bypass Brookstone, but my husband is an opitmist and said we had to at least see for ourselves. In doing so we found and learned that not everything you read is true, formulate your own opinion and that it is not fair to hold new management and staff accountable for those that are far gone and didn't care. Marley, Mahogany, Melissa and the maintenance staff have enhanced this property and tenant experience to a new level and should be recognized for their hard work and dedication. Again I encourage anyone reading this to formulate your own opinion, don't take just my word or that of others come see for yourselves..... The maintenance people are so helpful and sweet. The pest prevention team is super friendly and keeps those South Carolina bugs at bay. Great Apartment!
July 26, 2018I have lived in the complex for four years now. The previous management was completely incompetent, rude, and negligent. Since the new management took over in July 2017, it has been a legit night and day difference. The entire office staff is friendly, helpful, and have an amazing personality. The have done amazing upgrades to the complex and have made it feel like a community. I now feel valued as a human and client of Brookstone. Horrible Management
May 25, 2018Avoid this apartment complex at all cost if you value great customer service, a management team that is honest and communicates well, and your valuable belongings. My lease was set to end in June 2018, but I was hired in another state and moved in May 2018. I had to leave some of my belongings (clothing in suitcases, memorabilia in storage bins, etcetera) behind in the apartment, which I believed was fine being that my lease would not be ending for another month. I returned one set of apartment ...keys, and kept the other so that family could retrieve the items left behind in my absence. The property manager, Mahogany, was aware my belongings were left behind in spite of the keys being returned because I had this conversation with her. I told her that my family would be returning to the apartment with the spare key I’d kept to retrieve what was left behind. She chose to have all of my belongings thrown out into the dumpster once I had the electricity turned off for the apartment, stating that this was an indicator that I was relinquishing the apartment. This was just days after our conversation. She threw out these belongings with no notice and no courtesy phone call, and no regard for my feelings toward the matter once I was able to speak with her.Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com
No respect for their tenants
May 21, 2017Hello my name is Ken I've been living at the birthstone for 9 years and watched it. Deteriorate ever since I've been attacked in the gym by a tenant who moved out at midnight the night before his court appearance for assault mind you I tolf the office about this guy 3 weeks prior and they knew he had issues he told management he just didn't like me 3 weeks prior they should have taken his past card! A month ago I was charged a $300 deposit for a cat that I had seven years that I found outside ...with one eye because one of their tenants let their kid out without being spayed they don't enforce the rules out there would not have been a cat to rescue! I've had no upgrades in 9 years my carpet was old when I moved in just shampoo and they charge me a $300 deposit for what? Today I complain to the maintenance guy because the gym door was propped open all night and the pool door he told me I was bothering him they have no respect for their tenants here this is a guy that does not look at you when you speak to him very strange! The hallways are a mess garbage is left in them they do not enforce that law if you have any type of self-respect do not move the Brookstone this will be my last 16 month lease here if you want a home don't move to Brookstone thank you Kenneth zanioProperty Manager Responded
