Awful
March 8, 2021Management has no respect or consideration for the tenants. You could complain about a stolen item and they won’t care. Parking is a mess. Office staff are lazy and extremely slow about resolving issues. This place is not secure. Any and everyone can come and go as they please, so be sure to lock your door and car. The laundry room is pitiful. Elevators need to be replaced.Property Manager Responded

I can see why you are frustrated and I sincerely wish that we had been able to do a better job while you were still living in our community. We have worked hard on getting the construction completed in a timely manner, which I know was an inconvenience to all the residents but I am sorry that you, or any of our residents, felt any fallout from that. We deeply value each of our residents and each member of our team truly strives to provide them with the best living experience we can. Again, I am truly sorry that we let you down, and am even more sorry that we missed the chance to make it up to you personally. ROACHES + POOR MANAGEMENT
July 9, 2020i lived there for only 3 months and immediately broke the lease after my home was broken into, as well as the next door apartment. Crack dealer on the top floor that attracts bad crowds. Also soooo many roaches it doesn’t matter what you do, THEY WILL NOT GO AWAY. please read all the reviews, people are not lying this apartment is a nightmare.Property Manager Responded

Don't move here
March 27, 2020This is the worst resident I have ever paid to live in. Management is super rude. Everyone in the office always seem to have an attitude or don't know what they're doing except for one person. There are extreme bug problems no matter how much you clean roaches bed bugs and other creatures that don't pay rent. Walls are super thin you can hear everything your neighbors are doing. if you put a service order in it will take about two months for them to get back with you let alone resolve an issue ...you may be having. Very unprofessional building always smell bad roaches in the hallway and on the walls. The fitness room does not work. The trash chutes do not work have not worked or been in use since September you have to take your own trash outside. Did I mention there are bugs here.? Maintenance is overworked. New management is rude kmg rude. Elevators go out of order every other week. They shut the water off every month to fix water problems that they have had since May of 2019. lighting system is poor your lights will flicker a lot when your air conditioner is on. Terrible
January 13, 2019The staffs of KMG are just rude. Don't expect they help you. KMG is the new manager, not like previous ones. Don't trust the photos here. The gym is very old. There is no piano or foosball table. You will smell smoke and the fire alarm rings all the time. Be careful with paperwork. I returned the keys, they said everything is set. I shouldn't have trusted them. Later, they charged me for leaving the apartment without telling them! I wrote to KMG but no answer. There are bedbugs and fly will get ...in your apartment in the summer! Try to avoid!Property Manager Responded
October 24, 2019Upon taking over the property in August 2018 we had to do a lot of corrections to different websites to make sure they reflect the property. The pictures of the piano and foosball table have been deleted. The fire alarms no longer ring all the time because the Fire panel has been replaced. Since we have managed the property the pest problem has been minimized. Sorry you did not have a good experience and thank you for the comment.

Don’t Waste Your Time
May 31, 2018I’ve called about 4 or 5 times (left my name & etc each time) & even emailed them. I have yet to hear a reply & this has been going on for about 2.5 weeks. Apparently they don’t want any business, so take your money elsewhere where your calls & emails are important!Property Manager Responded

meaning of terrible
April 5, 2018This the worst house, I’ve ever lived. The true meaning of the garbage is this house. Let me numerate its countless problems: Bed bug, broken windows that can’t be closed; especially at winter it will be intolerable; Roaches; Weak power system; Many inspections, even though without tenant permission. The interesting point is that, these inspections are time wasting and problems will stay; Small unit and high rent Irresponsible management etc. I’m a student at Wayne state and after one year ...living there, I’m happy to leave it and rescue my life.Property Manager Responded

A good Apartment with some flaws
January 6, 2017I have been a resident for almost a year now and honestly, I love my place. Did I have to deal with a minor pest problem? Yes. In reality, that is any place you move to where you live in a building with other people. When you live in a building with different people and different ways of life, this is bound to become an issue eventually. If it is not roaches, it is ants. If it isn't ants, it is something else. This is coming from a person that an allergy to roaches (they leave around germs that I ...have developed an allergy to). After a few treatments, I rarely, if ever, see a roach. I do my due diligence and I make sure to report anything I see. I have a studio. Yes if you look hard enough, you can find something to complain about; however, I am getting ALL UTILITIES FREE.......ALL OF THEM. I don't pay DTE for no lies or no heat. Therefore, I have no reason to complain. However, I can say I do not like the parking situation. I feel like that could be better. To have to pay for parking is reaching, but other than that. It is not that bad...it is really good actually. I can walk around and not feel like I am about to be mugged. Security is really nice. Management has been cool. There are things that can be improved, but that is anywhere honestly. So I do not find any sufficient reasoning to give it 1 star.Property Manager Responded

July 31, 2015This is a really great location in Detroit, MI. The maintenance team is fantastic, they always do their best to make sure everyone is as happy as they can be. It's right on WSU campus and is a half an hour walk from downtown. There are some pest problems from time to time, but it comes with the territory. Rent is actually rather reasonable, but I figured I would try my luck.Property Manager Responded
