My husband and I moved in a year ago (fall 2017), and just had our first baby here. All good things to say, really:
- Location right next to Toco Hills mall is super convenient, and we appreciate the walkability. Also right next to a park with a nice wooded nature path. The area feels safe and peaceful, but is close enough to stores and activities. I bike to work (about 1.5 miles to Emory), so the location also allows me to avoid traffic, which I consider a huge quality-of-life issue.

...Management: They are accessible, helpful, and responsive. If there is severe weather expected, or any other issue that might concern residents, the office sends out emails with helpful information. They are also just nice! I recently stopped by the office to pick up packages while carrying the baby, there was more to carry than expected, and David actually drove us back down to our unit on the golf cart.
- The unit: We live in a 'deluxe' unit, i.e. recently rehabbed, with crown molding and fancy finishes, and it is lovely. The fireplace is nice in the winter. Management cares about keeping units in good condition, our repair requests are always addressed promptly, and they offer a free carpet cleaning each year you renew your lease.
- The grounds are pretty and woodsy. Most apartment complexes I've seen in the area have a lot of concrete, but this has a lot of nature. It's a nice place to just take a walk without worrying about speeding traffic. I have even seen an owl :) We have not had problems with pests, and management offers regular pest control if anyone wants it.
- Facilities and amenities: The pool is a really nice place to hang out and/or swim laps. The clubhouse is a sweet little space to sit and relax, and we actually had our small wedding ceremony there. There is also a fitness room (small but adequate for a basic workout), tennis courts, a DIY car wash, outdoor grills, and free weekly yoga, tennis and workout classes.
- Community: There is a nice mix of residents, from students to families to retirees, and it is a friendly neighborhood where people greet one another. The management also organizes events like an annual pool party and occasional 'breakfast on the run' as you leave for work.
