Great Place to Live
August 13, 2021I loved my experience there. Responsive staff, good maintenance, great parking, and most of all, great location. My apartment had a very modern feel. Lots of great natural light. Perfect place for someone single, with or without kids. I lived there for almost a year. Only paid to terminate my lease early because I found a house and moved in with my girlfriend. If you work in the medical center or a nearby university, you couldn't ask for a more convenient location.Property Manager Responded

November 11, 2018Love my experience at Camden Plaza so far! I moved from across the country and Madi was very helpful from the very beginning, helping me get a look at the apartment via pictures/email since I couldn't fly down to check it out in person. 1. Parking garage has plenty of space 2. Noise has not been an issue 3. Nice quiet residential neighborhood, with a few nearby coffeeshops and places to eat, but also conveniently right off the 59/69 highway. 4. Have not had issues with pests/bugs/cockroaches (I ...close my drains whenever possible just in case...) 5. There's a 24h gym (better than most of the other Camdens I think) and 2 outdoor pools 6. Convenient package locker (another feature that I don't think other Camdens have) so that you don't have to be at home for deliveries 7. Cable/internet valet trash for included for a mandatory fee - both work well for me! 8. Weekly food trucks come by on Wednesdays and lots of community get-togethers/parties. Good Luck If You Do
August 20, 2018This has been the WORST apartment living experience I've had. I've lived here for over a year and it's progressively getting worse. Monthly or quarterly burglaries, both of vehicles and apartment break-in. No real security solutions proposed. Consistent false fire alarms at all times of the day that management has done nothing about other than send a generic apologetic email. Waking up to a deafening alarm at 1am, 4am, or whenever the system decides to act up. This has been going on for weeks and ...Camden will not spend the money to get this fixed once and for all. Truly disappointed, especially after seeing all the raving reviews this place once had. It surely has not been my experience. Too much money for poor quality
January 16, 2018I was told there is a courtesy officer on duty that responds to courtesy requests before I signed a lease here. Tonight there courtesy officer Benny shows up at my apartment with an attitude and chip on his shoulder. He refused to go to the apartment below me to ask them to be quiet. He said it was “normal living conditions”. I have lost respect for this company and this property.Property Manager Responded

Former Tenant - 9 Years
June 4, 2017I moved into Camden Plaza in June 2008 and stayed until May 2017. As indicated by the length of my tenure I was very happy at the Plaza, but since my primary reason for living downtown was to be close to the office, my retirement has led me to move on. Some things about my time at Camden I'd like to share (1) The maintenance staff does an excellent job of fixing things in a timely manner (2) I have always found the leasing and management staff to be very helpful (3) corporate is willing to put ...money into Camden Plaza as evidenced by swapping out some exercise machines that were still working very good (4) I always enjoyed good water pressure and plentiful hot water...not true in all places I've lived (5) while past performance doesn't guarantee future performance, during Hurricane Ike, I only lost power for one hour and (6) I never had a problem getting parking in the parking structure for me and/or my guests. Hopefully I never have to go back to work again, but if I do, I will definitely strongly consider Camden Plaza.Property Manager Responded

July 11, 2016We just moved into the Camden Plaza apartments and we love it!!! Hilary & everyone we spoke to in the leasing office were so helpful they made it an easy decision to move here!!! Moving from Minnesota was a big move and we had to make a quick decision without seeing the property first. Hilary went way above and beyond to help us and make the transition easy....she is truly the best!!!! She even sent pictures, answered numerous calls, etc. upon arriving everything was just as I expected and no ...surprises!!! The property is beautiful and very, very clean!!! Believe It
June 2, 2016Due to water damage at my old place, I had to find a new apartment extremely quickly; the reviews on this site convinced me to go take a look at Camden Plaza. I assumed they were too good to be true; but no, it really is as nice a place as everyone says! Great location, very nice apartment interiors, excellent amenities. I was particularly impressed when I called the maintenance line at 9:30pm on a Sunday to report that my air conditioner had stopped working - someone was at my door by 9:45, ...diagnosed the problem was a burned out circuit board by 10pm, and had it replaced and working again by 10:10! October 22, 2015I can't say enough how much I love this place. There are NO cons to living here and I just can't find a reason to move or buy a house. I just love everything about this place, the staff, the awesome community events. The POOLS! I love them so much and the location of this Camden is so prime. Great Apartment, Helpful Staff
September 24, 2015Camden Plaza is a very clean and well-maintained apartment. Our apartment faces one of the 2 pools and is very quiet. We have only needed to call maintenance once for a very minor issue and it was fixed within 1/2 hour. Office people are all very helpful with information and needs such as use of the fax, etc. Also there there are monthly food-and-meet events. September 22, 2015This is a great place for professionals that are looking for a quiet home to come to. Upon my move-in date, there was a care package on the counter, which was a nice touch! Everyone is respectful here and the staff are very helpful. Sasha and Hillary were extremely hospitable in making my move simple, stress free and worked around my work schedule. The response for maintenance is excellent. I briefly mentioned to the staff at the front desk that my light bulb was out and even before submitting a ...work order, the maintenance guy came and fixed it within the hour. Personally, the best part about this place for me is that it's exceptionally clean! They really take care of the property. Camden Plaza is a Great Place to Live
September 20, 2015After living at Camden Plaza for nearly 2 and a half years, I can easily say that this complex and community have set the bar extremely high. Although every apartment comes with its side of faults, which I will mention later, Camden Plaza maintains several very important attributes that make it such a great place to live: unrivaled service, safety, and amenities. No matter what the issue may be, the Camden Staff have been exceptional in providing sincere and timely help. When I first moved in, ...our apartment had some issues getting our cable properly set up and ended up going without cable TV for almost three months. Even though the issue was completely on Comcast's end, we were still being charged each month for cable TV, which is bundled into the monthly rent bill. After explaining the situation to the Camden manager, we were compensated in our next months rent to completely cover all of the cable TV charges for the 3 months prior. The manager even spent some time dealing with Comcast customer service for us, which wasn't really his responsibility. Every time we've had an issue like this, the staff have always been super helpful in fixing it promptly. Even the maintenance crew is fast and friendly. As far as safety goes, the community is relatively secure with the use of FOB access for all the gates and garage. With any big city you are bound to have theft and break-ins, especially in such an affluent neighborhood as Greenway. It happens occasionally here, but that's just the reality of living in Houston. I feel safe sleeping here at night and leaving my car in the garage, so thats good enough for me. As far as amenities, Camden has two well kept swimming pools, two nicely furnished public rec rooms, one of which has a pool table and kitchen, and there are parties and community events constantly being put on by the Camden staff. I mean, there is literally an event going on every single day. Cons: Trash Valet is a required charged service even though there are trash chutes located in the enclosed hallways of every floor. In Houston, it seems trash valets have colluded with apartment complexes to secure their business even in places that do not really need the service. 28$ per month for a service that you don't have to use. Packages used to be accepted at the leasing office, but now they must be picked up at a separate shipping location. There's No Place Like Home!
September 17, 2015Camden Plaza has been such an amazing community living experience. Before moving to Camden, I had the unfortunate experience of having my previous apartment broken into. It was extremely traumatizing for me. When I started to look for a new place to live, I couldn’t help but take notice of the well maintained property grounds, the very friendly and professional staff but most importantly the sense of security here. I knew that this was the perfect place for me. I felt right at home and ...couldn't wait to move in! I’ve had the opportunity to meet my neighbors, participated in some of the community activities for residents, and I do love those food trucks! The location of this property is perfect. You can get pretty spoiled only living 10 minutes away from your job! The neighborhood is filled with plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from even within walking distance. It truly makes a difference when a community takes so much pride in their commitment to the resident living experience.
