Beware of random fees!
July 31, 2020Audit your account before making your monthly payments! Theses people are not to be trusted they will add fees for insurance lapse that never occurred and pretend they sent out a letter they could not produce! Your car will be regularly broken into because there is no security even though they claim to have a regular patrol. Hallways smell of trash during the summer because of a lack of enforcement of community rules! Random trash left in the stairwells! Location is about the only positive thing ...I could think of!Property Manager Responded

I am sorry to see that you felt this was not the case. In regards to your concerns, each resident is informed in advance of potential fees related to lapse in renter's insurance coverage. If the policy is not updated by the resident, fees may be assessed in accordance with their lease agreement. In relation to trash concerns, we do send reminder notifications to the community and will speak directly with those individuals leaving trash outside the pick up times. Friendly Staff & Great Midtown Location
March 23, 2020Very walkable to bars, grocery, and restaurants. Pet friendly, clean, and amenities are top notch. The pool is one of the best in the area and the residents here are friendly. Never had an issue or noise complaint here.Property Manager Responded

Unfortunate Experience
March 13, 2020The only reason that I am giving two stars is because of the location. If you work in Downtown Houston and take the MetroRail to and from work every day, this is an excellent location. I dealt with many frustrations living here, but below are just two of the major issues: 1) security issues- there were constantly car break ins in the “secure” parking garage. We were told repeatedly that they were taking proper measures to increase security, but the issues kept occurring. Unfortunately, I was a ...resident affected by a break in. While I was out of town for a weekend, my car was broken into. While I was gone, I did not receive any individual notification that my car was impacted. The incident took place on a Friday night, and when I got home from my trip on Sunday afternoon I found a smashed window, glass was all over the inside of my car, and what belongings were left were just sitting in the front seat. When I asked why I wasn’t notified, I was told that they didn’t have my car information on file to be able to track me, (although I have a parking sticker). When I asked them to pull up my account so we could add my car information to my account, magically, my information was there. They did not offer to help with car repair and were not clear of what measures they would take to ensure this did not happen again. Instead, I received a box of cookies to let me know I am a valued resident. 2) car damage- in addition to the $500 I paid out of pocket to have my car repaired after being broken into, I also spent another $500 out of pocket to fix car damages. Over night, damage was done to my car that left a crack in the bumper. When I went to the front office to ask about security tapes and what they would do to help find the person that caused the damage, they informed me that they had no video footage. When I asked what they would do to help with the damage or at least ensure that security video would be installed in the garage, the response I received was vague and did not provide me with any faith as a resident. With the amount of money you spend to live in the loop, security should not be a concern. It is too easy for people to get in and out of the complex who do not live there. The neighborhood of Midtown is already an unsafe neighborhood, so it would be nice to feel that you are safe in your own home.Property Manager Responded

Poor Comstruction, Unsafe, Noisy Neighbors
October 14, 2019While maintenance is awesome, it doesn't make up for the unsafe conditions. Two units have been broken into, and almost every week were hear of vehicles being broken into. I have only lived here since May. It's too easy for criminals to access the property, and management just gives canned responses and empty promises. Do not move here unless they start providing overnight security and stronger measures to keep the scum out. Also, expect to hear your neighbors. And the burnouts on Travis (there ...are plenty of treadmarks on the street if you want evidence). I could NEVER recommend this property!Property Manager Responded

Most helpful staff!
June 28, 2019Moving into a new city and new apartment I was scared I wouldn't find an apartment I loved. However, when I toured Travis Street I fell in love. The entire complex is so clean and has amazing amenities (beautiful pool, study room, and gyms!). During the move-in process my leasing agent Monica has been incredible! Always answering my many questions and making me so excited to move in! Beautiful and Convenient
April 28, 2018I just moved in to Camden Travis Street about a month ago and I absolutely love it. The community is very pristine and beautiful. You can tell their team truly cares about the upkeep and their residents. Zaynah and Yesenia are both so nice and eager to help you with whatever it may be. The location is super convenient being within walking distance to many restaurants, bars, and parks. Astros games are just a short walk and train ride away. Unending noise
November 11, 2017I've lived here two years and have dealt with ridiculous levels of noise the entire time - located above a noisy club (fights outside my window at 2 am on week nights) and surrounded by endless construction (demolition starting at 6am on weekends). My next door neighbor relocated due to the noise and my roommate and I are about to as well. Other than the noise, the apartment is new and spacious and the pool is amazing.Property Manager Responded

Exceptional Quality
October 22, 2015I am a recent resident of CTS and if you want a great living experience and greeting by amazing leasing group, then this is the only place you need to come in Houston. From day 1 of my leasing experience everyone at the property treated me with the uttermost respect and made sure I received the best service possible. Wonderful living for ALL ages

You can definitely tell when you look at the overall appearance of Camden atTravis Street, to the smallest detail in the units that they wanted to satisfy their future residents. The staff is friendly and units are spacious and have a sophisticated look to them. This Camden is just minutes away from 59, I-10, AND I-45. October 12, 2015I keep remembering that 23rd of March. The Camden employee, his name was Aaron. He told me, I already know, this one is going to be your new home. Two weeks more and I was there, in my new apartment. A very nice one bedroom in the second floor. What else is needed? When you are in such an amazing place, such and amazing zone (midtown is a fresh brith, of the cold and steeld, city Named Houston). That people that I call ''neighbors' are the coolest dudes and dudetts to chill, to just take a beer ...or a wine at the pool. That's the reason behind the tittle of this review.
