      I moved here about 3 years ago, and have loved it since day one. Caitlyn and Marisa are very helpful and are amazing girls. The amenities are great, especially during the pool season.

      I don’t normally leave reviews but they definitely deserve it. The property is always fun to show off to friends and family and the staff is always a pleasure to interact with. The girls in the office always put their best foot forward to help in anyway they can and maintenance has always been timely whenever a situation arises. If you’re looking for a comfortable community , Cliffside is the place to be.

      Cliffside Apartments is a great place to live! They have low prices compared to other apartments in the area! My favorite features include the inground pool, outdoor patio area, hiking trail, and the view of the cliff when the leaves change colors!! I would recommend cliffside apartments 10/10!!

    • AWFUL MANAGEMENT & MAINTENANCE

      To all college students, parents of students, young professionals, & newbies of the areas, DO NOT sign a lease with this management company/apartment. As a full time worker for UMass Athletics, I would never encourage my coworkers or athletes to sign a lease with them unless they don’t mind dealing with problems every other week. I signed my lease with a fellow UMass Athletic worker back in August. Like any lease, we filled out a sheet that allowed us to write down anything wrong in our ...
      apartment. We had a decent list which included, doors not fully shutting, dirty/uncleaned bathroom storage shelves and showers, etc. No changes or maintenance was done despite or lengthy list… In October, we noticed our refrigerator was leaking, we notified management/maintenance, and they “checked” on it claiming nothing was wrong. A week later, our whole fridge went out right after we paid $150+ in groceries for the week. Of course, they then sent maintenance to fix it and decided they needed to fully replace the fridge. To compensate for our damages, we received a $25 amazon gift card!!! Fast forward to now, my roommate and I went home for the holidays. We did not touch our thermometer or set it to anything when we left. When we were home with family, management sent a text stating “please let us know if your thermometers aren’t set to a minimal 55F”. This was a Wednesday and I wasn’t going to return till Thursday late (midnight). When I finally returned, I walked in my apartment and it was burning up - felt like I was walking into a sauna. I looked at my thermostat which we have had yet to touch, and it read “86F” in my living room, “82F” in my room and “80F” in my roommate’s. Thank God I returned late Thursday night and didn’t come back any later or else our entire apartment would’ve burned and we would’ve had a healthy electric bill. So, within our 4 months at Cliffside, I can confidently say this place is horribly run - management and maintenance. I have told all UMass Athletic employees and athletes to avoid this place at all cost. I wish I could break my lease, but we all know how that goes! For those looking for apartments, let this be a sign to NOT sign with Cliffside!

      Mold, leaking ceiling, unresponsive staff, fleas, and breaking appliances. The reviews on here are clearly written by the property management company. Will never rent from NBM again.

      Spencer the assistant manager and Rebecca the Leasing Consultant I would like to compliment them on their efficiency and their outgoing personalities when dealing with residents such as myself. They are quickly responsive and beyond helpful with normal requirements. Cliffside allows pets and encourages residents to pick up after their pets. During the winter time the plowing is sufficient. In this more demanding time, they are up to job! Over all Cliffside is better supervised than other ...

    • Really fantastic place to live—GREAT management!

      I looked extensively for apartments in the area, and elsewhere, and Cliffside was the only apartments I came across that made me feel welcome and at home. I genuinely enjoyed living there because of management’s hospitality and outgoing nature. We were always alerted in a timely manner about things (e.g. about moving cars for plowing snow) and every effort was made to accommodate the tenants any time staff needed to enter apartments for maintenance and/or big projects (e.g. new electric meters, ...
      new thermostats, etc...). The property manager was honestly one of the nicest and most friendly people I have ever met—qualities you would expect in someone in such a position but are actually rare to find in real life. She went out of her way to arrange community get togethers (e.g. pizza parties) and was always looking for ways to improve life for residents there. While I did have an issue with maintenance once, that was really the only time I had problems—any work order I placed was dealt with next day, if not day of. I loved living there, so much so chose to renew my initial lease and then moved to a larger apartment in an adjacent building. The apartments had everything I needed and more, and were always cleaned thoroughly when I moved in. I have only just now moved because I had to move out-of-state for my job—had I remained in the area, I would have renewed my lease without a second thought.
