If you don't live on the third floor, you're not going to enjoy staying here. I'm a relatively longtime resident and I have had a couple different upstairs neighbors. From my experience, it doesn't matter if the person above you is a heavy walker or a light, nimble butterfly....you will hear every single footstep they take. CONSTANTLY. You will also hear everything that ever comes in contact with their floors. Shoes being kicked off, things falling, vacuums, you name it. If it makes a sound and
...touches the floor, you will either hear it or feel it shaking your apartment. Paper thin walls are also a thing here, as most apartment complexes, but paper thin floors is a new thing for me.... If you enjoy your sanity, if you enjoy quiet places, this is not the place for you. This is a not a biased view after after a bad experience, this is a genuine review and one that is purely intended for advice. There's nothing that can done about this, there is no solution to this problem, this is just one of things you have to be aware of and decide if you want to live with them or without them.
