excellent physical accommodations/excellent management
February 6, 2024The buildings are safe and secure with cameras and locks throughout. Residents are helpful and respectful. The management team is prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. The apartment itself is everything I could want. My appliances work perfectly. I especially appreciate the convenience of a washer and dryer inside my unit. Another feature that I like is the walk-in shower. At my age, that is a huge safety feature. The two additional features that really sold me on Colony Hills are the in house ...garage and the elevator. They are a blessing! There are even shopping carts in the garages for your use in bringing your groceries or packages to your apartment. I have been here for about two years. For a new building, hiccups are expected but it was a very pleasant and fair experience
September 18, 2021I lived at Colony Hills from 2018 until 2021. I will start with the community is very strong. Neighbors that look out for each other. Particularly were two couples on the second floor of 562 that have become very close friends. Mind you, I am in my 20's and they are both septuagenarians. So the community is older and I loved it as a graduate student at Kent State University but there are other young people from KSU, NEOMED, residents, lawyers, etc. The apartment was very spacious and a great ...price for a 2bed/2bath. I think the rates have gone up a lot since I left but now I am in DC so I still think it is cheap compared to the DMV. There were several problems, some long lasting. But Rhonda did work with me and made me happy with her efforts. They tried and some things were greater than they could control but they worked with me and that was important. The units are very nice but some of the appliances give you trouble. Another thing is most everyone I know there uses a brita or strong water filter. I am not sure if it is Tallmadge or the building but it is necessary. There are events sporadically and the building is super clean. There is an elevator and every resident gets a heated garage with rent that goes to the hallway with the elevator. There are carts for hauling materials to your unit and believe you me, your neighbors will know if you hold onto the cart and you will get a knock at the door with a grumpy person requesting the cart be return 5 minutes after you borrowed it haha. But it is a great place and I felt safe and it is super quiet which was exactly what I was looking for. I would recommend this property and return no problem.Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com
