I actually live here...
May 31, 2025So I moved in a couple months ago now and I personally love it. It is a niche style though and probably not for everyone. The building was built in the 1890's and there are exposed brick, piping and support structure throughout the apartment. The floors are original to the building I believe which is nice but there are some leveling issue with them. From one side of my apartment to the other is roughly and inch and a half fall. It isnt consistent and does visible drop mid-room so leveling long ...furniture like a bookshelf couch or bed can be a challenge when place items. The included internet is great. However, if you are a tech nerd like myself you will find it challenging and slow. It is a metered connection and without cellular internet in the area as offered by VZW it can be very frustrating sometimes. I absolutely do love this place though. The neighbors are quiet and tend to be more of the retirement age OR established professionals 30+. The parking garage is nice but EXTREMELY tight. Don't plan on parking your large SUV in between the wooden columns very easily. Matter of fact when you drive down the parking garage to turn around and come back towards the front I like to call it "threading the needle" as squeezing through the large wooden columns must be paid attention to closely. There is adequate parking across the street and adjacent alley though for the bigger vehicles except on Saturday mornings when the market is open. Just make sure if you park there to be in your spot by 6:30am on Saturdays until around 1:30PM. I absolutely love being so close to literally everything. I walk across the street to the market or hit the trails almost daily. The local theater, library and many food options are all within walking distance. So, I would recommend this place to anyone dreaming of the "Loft life" just know that with a loft in these historic buildings there are somethings that you must expect.Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com
