  • “Disabled? Don’t Bother — They’ll Make You Give Up Your Garage”

    If you value integrity, transparency, and basic respect for tenants, look elsewhere. Management here has been completely unresponsive and dismissive, especially when it comes to disability-related accommodations. I submitted verified medical documentation requesting an accessible parking space, only to be told I’d have to surrender my garage—which is part of my signed lease—in order to get it. That’s not accommodation, that’s coercion. Even after providing updated verification from my doctor, ...
    their attorney doubled down on this “swap or pay” demand instead of complying with fair-housing law. Communication is slow, inconsistent, and defensive. Requests go ignored until legal complaints are mentioned. Landscaping and maintenance are neglected, and any promise of “luxury living” is a joke. Corte Bella is managed by Greystar / TN Investments, and they clearly prioritize profit and appearances over tenant rights and safety. I’m documenting every interaction for my state complaint, and I strongly recommend avoiding this property if you expect accountability, accessibility, or professionalism.

  • Corte Bella: Looks Polished, Runs on Fear and Excuses

    Don’t be fooled by the landscaping — this place is a nightmare behind the gates. Management and their lawyer use scare tactics and intimidation instead of professionalism. I asked for a simple disability parking accommodation backed by a doctor’s letter and was told I’d have to give up my garage or pay extra. That’s not policy — that’s pressure. Everything here is about control, not care. If you value your rights, document everything and look elsewhere before signing a lease.

    Corte Bella at first was genuinely a very enjoyable place to live. Other than a few minor things I consider it to be a nice complex. However over the last year there’s been a noticeable decline in overall experience and service. The complex is lacking in updated repairs such as single pane windows for all units despite being on or directly near busy streets. No central air conditioning, unfinished and cramped garage units. Cheap and unfinished materials in apartment units. Price increases in ...
    renting and misc. fees/requirements are not accurately calculated for what you’re receiving from the complex in terms of the units, amenities, and services. Too expensive for a complex that has outdated buildings, cramped/unfinished spaces, and staff that seems solely focused on finding petty excuses in order to gouge you for fees and more money. Instead of offering solutions or help to tenants they rather fine you and get you off their back as quickly as possible.There seems to be a lack of organization with this corporation regarding policy changes, communication with tenants, and problem solving. Despite being here for almost three years now, there is no relationship building or connecting with residents and staff. Possibly due to the constant change of staff members. There has not been any sign of future unit upgrades. Constant issues with the laundry rooms, water and insulation, and upkeep of property. There has been multiple incidents of overcharging and being charged twice for utilities. Or charges for utilities from a few months back will not appear until later on. The transition from active building to loft has caused a lot of issues including being unable to access the portal all together or having your account deleted. Upon moving here, the upside to Corte Bella was its location, neighbors are pretty easy to get along with and respectful, not to loud and overall a safe place. Inside the units are generally nice in terms of aesthetics. The indoor washer and dryer are a big plus but they are a little small. Single car garage is ok however it’s extremely cramped and unfinished. Since moving in rent has gone up almost 400$, and that’s a significant increase which adds up over time, and despite the increase in price there has not been any changes.

    Overall nice community and location. I've witnessed several management and maintenance changes over the years. Always professional though. I wish there was a way to give long time renters such as myself a huge break on the Rent Increases. I understand the all the red tape involved but that would be nice.

    I’ve been here in Corte Bella since 2014, but ever since 2020 the apartment complex has not been the same, there’s no security, the parking is a big issue, cars are getting broken into, neighbors are always fighting out loud or playing music loud till 3 o’clock in the morning, dogs being left out in the balcony all day barking like crazy every minute, children and teenagers running and yelling around the building, or on their skateboards without supervision, not enough light around the complex, ...
    the entryway to each duplex is filthy including the staircase and the rocks underneath the staircase which never gets clean and is full of trash. The dumpsters are always overflowing and there’s always trash all over the floor around the dumpsters which is only bringing rats to the building. All these issues have been brought up to management in the past and present in many occasions, and to this day nothing has been done. The only good thing that has happened in this complex since 2014 is the fact that I got new windows however, my patio door is still the old same door which is full of mold and old glue which comes from the bottom of the floor next to the patio glass door, and is rusty. I have asthma and mold is definitely not good for me, but I’ve been told that I need to wait, I guess 10 years waiting it’s not enough time.
