If you're thinking of moving into Cricket Club I can happily paint a picture for you of what it's like to live here. Firstly, you'll never feel alone because the apartment is infested with roaches! They're like the best of friends, no matter how much you try and push them away they'll still be there for you. The office doesn't really seem concerned when you tell them about it because they do less of a bug treatment than I do. Just don't leave food out on the kitchen counter and wear earplugs when
...you sleep and you should be fine. Oh, and the apartments come with a built-in cooking timer. The fire alarms! But it goes off after about 5 minutes so it's not super reliable. Something great the complex does for you is threaten to tow your car if you don't get a new pass. It's like getting a new accessory for your car every few months! So stylish! Something everyone loves is getting fine letters on your door for the most random of things. But don't worry, if you're mad and you want to talk to them you'll have plenty of time to simmer down because you'll get the note on Friday and they won't be back until Monday! You should also know that this is a gated community. Except it only closes after 6pm when they leave for the day. In order for me to get in I must type in a code that makes me call myself and let myself in. I feel so protected from myself! If my phone is dead or forgotten at home... whoops. There's always a motel down the street. But it's okay because the gate doesn't close every night. When it does shut it often breaks and you have to try and run through the out gate to get home. It's such a rush! As for the community, there was a shooting recently and the neighbors are all very colorful. One guy actually stands outside and just stares at you. Even when you think it's the socially acceptable time to look away he will push your boundaries and keep on staring. It's like an intense game to play when you come home from work. There is a gym at the complex. However, you may have to share machines because there aren't very many and don't plan on cardio because none of the machines are treadmills. A nice thing to add is that the maintenance staff was working in my apartment yesterday and I left for work. When I returned he had left the door open. Not unlocked, open! It was like a crime drama, going in and searching the house for robbers or murderers that could be hiding. So, looking for a place to keep you on your toes? Look no further! You're home!
