  • DON’T MOVE HERE

    ***PLEASE READ IF YOUR PLANNING ON MOVING HERE** On my move in date Sept 22, 2023, Nothing was ready! Was absolutely disgusting, my garage door didn’t work …their were pieces on the floor, there was roaches in my bathroom, my bathroom had a leak and mold (I informed them about the mold and they spray painted it) also the bathroom tub/shower was so yellow & filthy, the toilet was not attached to the floor, the air vents were completely full of dust and dirt, my balcony door was open and didn’t ...
    have a lock, my dryer had rust, the gates DON’T CLOSE, the list goes on. I was given false information about the whole apartment! Please be aware, the office doesn’t care about your opinion, and won’t even answer the phone. Also, I informed them about the reviews before moving in and they told me they are fake people who left reviews. Please take your money and run.

    Do not move here!!! I had the worst experience ever moving into this place. I just moved and am already counting down the days for this lease to be up. If I started listing things wrong it would be a book. They should have just condemned this unit they allowed me to move into. And to add to the crappy unit I have someone above me that has NO respect for people downstairs. For the time I won't even consider a lease renewal.     I have left numerous voicemails, emails, messages for over a week and it wasn't until my third call in one day that I got an answer. I believe someone named Nikki answered and I honestly could not believe the responses I got. It was like they wanted nothing to do with being on the phone or to let me rent an apartment. This person told me all of the prices I was seeing on the website were wrong and did not ask what I was interested in, when I needed to move in, etc. I then just simply said I ...
    need a 2 bedroom by the end of September (I threw all of my small questions and requests out the window because it was obvious that this person was not interested). Nikki then said one apartment would be available and gave me the price and square feet. When I asked which apartment it was this person had the nerve to tell me to go look myself! I was appalled! I never once gave an attitude even after that response, but it was like Nikki wanted to hang up on me the whole time. I will be taking my money elsewhere.

  • Depends on your expectations

    Pros include new flooring and a large living and bedroom. Attached garage included. The property is clean and well maintained. Cons are old appliances and a majority of tenants that blast their car stereos when they drive through the property. Kids on minibikes and atvs on the roads. Nearly every night, my neighbors are outside their garage being loud well past 11pm.

    The pictures that are posted are not recent. It took maintenance 8 months to fix my washer water overflowing into the garage, which I reported multiple times. I also had a water leak underneath my kitchen sink and a constant running toilet, both taking them anywhere from three to six months to even knowledge. Management (if you want to call them that) has no customer service. Your concerns will not be met in a timely manner nor will it be handled properly. Management changed multiple times. The ...
    pools were not clean properly. My neighbor's car was broken into multiple times. There was a shooting and a drug bust all in the same week. And to make matters worse after I left they charged me $500 which I never knew about until I looked at my credit report. They claimed I never gave a forwarding address which in fact I hand-carried them a letter providing my forwarding address. Probably put the letter in the same file they put the maintenance orders. So to sum it up if you want to live in a poor managed property, high crime area and your concerns not addressed in a timely manner or addressed at all... this is the place for you.

  • Nice apartment, but...

    My favorite parts of Bala Sands are my garage, my spacious apartment, the onsite gym and the gated community, when the gate is working. The inside of the apartments are dated. I understand they are updating some things as tenants move out, but the fixtures and appliances are as old as the apartment complex and could use some TLC. The maintenance is great and the apartment staff is great when you go into the office. A lot of times, though, it is difficult to communicate with them without going in ...

    This community has very nice landscape, beautifully maintained community. I have walked this complex many times and residents are very nice. Every unit comes with a garage and a washer and dryer. The garage is big enough for the washer and dryer one car if you opt for the one bedroom unit. The two bedroom or higher have a two car garage. The closets are enormous and the bathrooms are huge. The kitchen area is spacious and also includes a microwave. The units also come with a huge pantry ...
    and nice size patio. My place is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath townhome unit. The layout is very well done and having the gate at entry helps with security. I am happy with my choice and would recommend this community!

    My wife and I share an apartment here, with our dog and rabbit. We absolutely love everything about it except for management. They are very personable and friendly, but they take some time to get problems resolved. There have been multiple occasions when we have had a maintenance issue and management did not get it taken care of in a timely manner. Maintenance is very nice and does their job well, though.     people around us for the most part. We have only had very minor irritations, but nothing serious. Since the apartments all have a garage, most of the upstairs space is over our own garage and that eliminates the possibility of having a noisy neighbor being a disturbance above or below our apartment.
