We have lived here for almost six years. It's a fantastic community! Neighbors are super nice and they really take care of the courtyards and gardens in this garden complex (gardeners come every tuesday bright and early!). We are in a 2 bedroom, 1 bath refurbished apartment that runs us ~$1500. It is spacious and open. The bathroom colors were terrible. Black, white and salmon pink tile... but it grows on you and now I look at it as retro-chic!
Most websites (and if you call the management) say
...no pets... Everyone here has pets (you'll see cats in a lot of windows and any time of day you can see someone walking a friendly pup). The super doesn't care. The guys who come when you have a problem (which is rare) are awesome. Super friendly and actually pretty funny once you get them talking!
You are less than a 5 minute walk to the Radburn Train Station which is like 25 min express trip into NYC. Many bus stops near by as well. Great sushi place a 3 minute walk away. Not only do you have two town-bars within quick walking distance, but you also have the brand new Fair Lawn Promenade just over a 5 minute walk distance. The Promenade includes a Starbucks, Habit Burger, Verizon, Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza, Noodles & Co, Cups, Moxie Hair Salon, and more!
This is an adorable, quite area right next to everything you could need! We may never buy a house here because everything we like about Fair Lawn is just so easily accessible from our apartment!
