horrible
August 12, 2015I live currently in these apartments and its just horrible! It takes forever for maintenance to tend to my needs inside my home . I have neighbors complaining about mold and there has been a recent cockaroach manifestation. Also there has been two deaths of children recently in the pools . and complaints of the pool making other residents hair fall out. Its such a horrible place you don't wanna move here!Property Manager Responded

The only way we can address complaints and comments is by maintaining open communication. I am sorry you had concerns. We have a policy of responding quickly to resident work order requests or complaints, and we typically follow up to confirm resident satisfaction. I apologize if we failed to contact you regarding your concern. We also contract for scheduled pest control on the property with a licensed and effective pest control company. In addition to managing the property for 13 years, I also live on the property so I certainly make every effort to address any property issues. Several of our other property staff also live on property and will certainly let me know if they notice any issues that require correction. You are correct that there was one drowning in September of 2014. The pool was closed, the gate ...locked and signage was posted that the pool was closed. There is also the standard and required signage that there is not a life guard posted and minors require adult supervision to be at the pool. In 2014 an unsupervised teenager climbed the locked gate, entered the pool and drowned. Your posting mentioned two drownings, but in the history of the property there has been one drowning. We take pride in maintaining our pool to comply with all state and local requirements. The pool is approved by the city, there is a licensed pool technician on staff and we also arrange for the YMCA to offer free swimming lessons to any of our residents that wish to participate. I am available in the business office most days and would be pleased to meet with you to review any concerns you have. Please stop by or contact the office for a mutually agreeable time. I look forward to meeting with you, and thanks for making your home at Fountains Corner Apartments.
