I absolutely love living here..it’s convenient to soo many places and there are also many places you can safely walk to if you want. Although the apartment is a little bit outdated, it is still very nice. I moved in December 2020 so I did get a better price compared to if you move at most other times of the year. another, one reviewer said their floors creaked. I have that problem but only the tiniest bit right by my closet in the master bedroom. You can also slightly hear the shower from the bathroom of your neighbor but it’s so faint it doesn’t bother me at all in general, this complex is very quiet, any noises I may hear are not loud or annoying enough to complain about...it’s an apartment, what do you except? I will admit I was a bit worried about moving in because it’s was during Covid and I couldn’t even see the apartment, plus a lot of work was being done I would normally never move into a place I couldn’t see. There must be a different staff than a few years ago because the staff was extremely nice and followed through with everything they said and even went beyond..they put all new carpets in, and even though the washer and dryer worked perfectly fine, they ordered us brand new ones before we moved in an they arrived about two weeks later. Any issue I have had has been attended to ASAP. The maintenance crew I have met so far have all been very nice and helpful. If you call during hours they come immediately and if you call after hours they call you first thing in the morning..my neighbors downstairs had a leak and apparently called at 2am, first thing the next morning I received a call saying maintenance would need to come check my pipes to see if the problem needed to be fixed from my apartment. Afterwards, the front desk always called to see if your problem has been resolved. I’ve had to call about five times, all little things, 3times I had to call to have my toilet seat replaced because it came loose..they came right up and put a new one one. Overall I am extremely satisfied living here. It’s also a very safe area. I definitely recommend Harbour Gates to anyone considering moving here. I plan on staying here until I can afford a house!!!
