We are fully occupied currently but, our waitlist is open! Welcome Home to Hope and Opportunity Harrington Heights isn’t just a place to live—it’s a new beginning. This brand-new 15-story affordable housing community offers thoughtfully designed homes for individuals and families seeking stability, community, and dignity. Whether you’re transitioning from homelessness, living with developmental disabilities, or simply seeking affordable housing in San Diego, Harrington Heights offers a supportive and inspiring environment designed to enhance your lifestyle. With modern amenities, central services, and a vibrant location near public transit and daily essentials, this is more than housing—it’s a fresh start. Harrington Heights is a (15) story, mixed-use high-rise featuring (270) units of low-income housing tax credit (“LIHTC”) affordable and permanent supportive housing for those chronically or currently experiencing homelessness and individuals with developmental disabilities. The residential units will consist of (27) two-bedroom units, (22) one-bedroom units, and (224) studio units. This project will be restricted units with the following affordable programs: MHP, AHSC, IIG, City of San Diego, LIHTC, and SDHC, along with (115) project-based rental assistance vouchers. Everyone’s so helpful
December 2, 2025I have a two bedroom, it’s spacious and close to everything Smart & Final, the trolley, the freeway. Every time I have any questions about anything from how I’m going to get my furniture moved in to how exactly to pay my rent Gabby and Moises are always happy to help me. Harrington Heights: A Wonderful New Home!
November 14, 2025I've been settled into my new apartment at Harrington Heights for a while now, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. This isn't just an affordable place to live; it genuinely feels like a supportive and welcoming community right in the heart of Downtown San Diego. The location is perfect, with great transit access and everything I need close by. What really makes the difference, though, is the incredible staff. I especially have to shout out Gabriella and Moses from the Front Desk ...Security team. They are the welcoming face of the building, handling a huge variety of tasks with expertise. Moses was instrumental during my move-in, patiently guiding me through all the complicated affordable housing paperwork. Gabriella, as a fantastic part of the security presence, is always friendly, quick to address general queries, and ensures the building is kept safe and secure. Their combined efforts truly make life here easy and comfortable. The building itself is modern, clean, and the amenities like the communal areas are a huge bonus. Amazing new home!
October 26, 2025My daughter and I just moved into our new home here at Harrington Heights. The entire staff is wonderful! From Gabriella, Quetzalli and Priscilla these ladies made the entire process extremely comfortable and positive. We are extremely grateful and so happy to be living here now!
