Worst complex in Houston. The cheap rent pulls you in but it’s not worth it, they refuse to put money towards maintaining the apartments. Before I moved out, they had workers to “fix issues” but for 3 months I saw ZERO improvement, there day I left they still hadn’t fished painting the stairs they stated months ago. The day I moved in, the apartment was full of roaches and there were holes all in and around the kitchen. The apartment ‘twas never checked before handing me the keys. Throughout ...
living here I was blamed (I was sent violations) for smoking in my apartment but I NEVER ONCE smoked in my apartment or outside the building. Everyday when I came outside it stunk of marijuana and instead of gathering proof they assumed it was my apartment. After moving out I am still having to deal with excessive charges being sent to me for things I already paid. Please beware and take you money elsewhere.

Our team works to complete maintenance requests as quickly as possible, with priorities based on the urgency of each situation. We also aim to prepare each apartment with a full inspection before move-in. If any concerns are present at that time, we encourage residents to report them on the move-in form so they can be addressed promptly.
Pest control services are available and provided upon request, and we encourage residents to report any issues so they can be treated as soon as possible. Maintaining a clean environment and proper food storage also helps prevent these concerns.

Management does not help or support their tenants, especially when their health is being affected. I have been asking Management for help and support for a year now with cigarette and marijuana smoke coming into my apartment from the other tenants around and how it has affected mine and my son's health to the point he has now develop asthma from second hand smoke. I've gone in personally with clothing, linens, pillows from my apartment to show them how the smoke has penetrated into everything we ...
own and they did not bother to smell it and do anything about it. I asked if they could please moved me apartments since the smoke has affected both of our healths and they wouldn't do unless I paid more $300 more on my rent. I regret leasing here. It is not fair that I am going to have to break a lease because they won't do anything to help. Very disappointed with this place.

So far so good. I had an issue upon first arriving and the management quickly fixed it. The staff is friendly, the apartments are clean and bug free, and the neighborhood is friendly. Access to 610, 288, light rail system, and or the medical center in general, is superb. While living in this area has its challenges, UTMB housing is a block away, which leads to this area also being double patrolled by campus police. This is my second time to be a resident here in the past 10 years, and highly ...
recommend it to any students or hospital employees trying to stay close to work while balling on a budget.

Major Pest Control Issues

Location is great, amenities you still pay for even though they're closed due to the pandemic and major roach infestation in my unit that has not been eradicated after over 6 months of regular treatment. The management has made absolutely no effort to address the problem beyond sending the exterminator who puts gel and boric acid. It does not matter how many times you tell them, how many pictures you send -- roaches were crawling across the ceiling in the middle of the day when the exterminator ...
was in the apartment. He saw for himself how bad it is but that didn't change anything.
It's been one of the worst living experiences I've ever had. But the rent is cheap and my stay is short. Not somewhere to try to live long term-- find some where that you don't have to worry about roaches in your food, around your bed, in your toilet, bath tub and on the clothes in your closet.

I have lived at Harvest Hill for 3 years now. I love my apartment. I have a 1 bedroom with a study. It is perfect! I work from home so the space is really nice and affordable. The office ladies are always so helpful and nice. Maintenance always repairs any issues quickly. Its also very quite and peaceful! Love watching the squirrels!

I really like my apartment at Harvest Hill. I am a student so I have a 1 bedroom with a study. Its perfect! Plenty of room to study and practice my Cello. Its so close to school and work. I can be downtown in less than 15 minutes.

This is the first apartment that I lived in by myself and it has been a great experience so far. My main reason for this review is because Jeanette at the front office has been nothing but amazing. She is very informative and will work to resolve any issues that you have and in addition to this, she is awesome to talk to! The staff overall is very friendly and personally, I find the area to be pretty quiet. I will be renewing my lease soon here!

Not Safe Apartments

Since I moved out I had two brake-in in my apartment. There are some tenants that are waiting for you to leave out on vacation.
I do not recommend this apartment complex at all.
The service is good, but they do not respect the people who live in these apartments. They do not care for you, your family or your belongs.
You going to receive a bunch of letters per month every time that an apartment gets brake in and they just send this letter to let you know that you should have insurance.

if you would like to lose everything valuable you own by the trash humans that break in to this complex all the time do not move here. The office takes ZERO responsibility for the security of the grounds. Gate code never changes, and is the same for everyone. No security, no cameras, no accountability, and no mention of making improvements once i notified them of my break in.

The office staff is amazing, the location is good if you work in the medical center or attend the nearby universities. The price is right for what is offered. It's nice and affordable. Maintenance request are usually done withing 24 hours. So far had great experience living in this apartment.

I have experienced good service at this apartment complex and all of my maintenance concerns have been fixed within 24 hours of submitting a request. I never have an issue with parking, the complex is always clean. It's affordable and in a convenient location, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. So far my stay here has been a good experience. Thank you!
