I've lived in this community over 9 years now. And anytime I needed maintenance, it was done without hesitation. No job is too small or too big. Ownerships, work team. It's the best knowledgeable, responsible and experienced. I needed an entire air conditioning unit installed without hesitation. It was done in a matter of hours. No questions asked. Example no job is too big. I would like to thank them again.

This is definitely a great place. They could easily charge more for rent as you have a central ac and central heating units on top of all the standard appliances. Nice path for running/cycling about 3-4 miles behind the apartments. Very safe area. Met some great neighbors. About 2 minute drive to Parkway, route 1&9, Turnpike. Less than a minute to 287. 2 train stations are less than 10 minutes away (go to Metropark in Iselin, its bigger and there is always parking).

POOR LANDSCAPING

This apartment complex really needs to do a better job of making sure all areas are properly landscaped. The entrance when you drive in looks great, but towards the back of the apartments there is garbage, twigs, branches, no grass, etc. all over the place. It is really sad to see how poor of a job they are doing in this area of maintenance. I am not sure if there are understaffed or just lazy, but this needs to be fixed quickly!

Great location, great price, friendly management and maintenance. However they tend to rush getting apts ready for move in and cut corners by resealing floors without ventilating, ill fitting locks, etc. Basketball court should have more stringent rules about hours of use and a locked gate for tenants who sleep during daytime for work or keep different hours.

Hillside Gardens is the abosolute best! The location is very convienient. The staff is very helpful and there's a super on cal 24/7. Very spacious apartments. There are laundry facilities on site as well as in certain apartments. Also, there is unlimited parking.
