Avoid at all cost
July 11, 2024When I moved in June 2023 the place was ran well no issues at all. Since that time we have had a change in management companies 3 times. The last manager Thelma is the worse of all of them. She's never in the office, the phone never get answered, any requests to have anything fix let alone then doing anything preventative doesn't get done. My air filter was changed once by them only because I caught the maintenance guy and made him give me on. You pay for valet trash that doesn't get picked up. ...You pay for pest control that doesn't get done. Joke
April 12, 2021Aside from the many issues needing to be done with upgrades or fixing like stairs (Rusting so bad they aren't even attached in some spots), siding (wood rotting and just needs some TLC) and the several times the gutters have literally fallen off the buildings, but the walls are so thin you can literally hear EVERYTHING and no one is quiet inside or outside, including the office staff that live in the complex. Some of the neighbors are great and noise is expected in an apartment complex, but ...others are just horrible with arguing, slamming doors, loud tv/ radios at all hours, yelling inside/ outside, or with their doors open for everyone to hear. The rodent problem is BAD but they are trying to resolve that issue and the Valet trash is nice when they come on time or when they are supposed to (there's their one star rating... for effort). In my year of living here 2020-2021) the office staff and maintenance crew have been changed 4 times and the new management company (City Gate) is just outright horrible. You'll also be price gouged on EVERYTHING and the staff will lie to you. This place is NOT worth the money they charge AT ALL! If I could give 0 stars I would. I cannot move out of here fast enough...Property Manager Responded

Grove at Seabrook
October 9, 2020The new staff is amazing. They are doing a fantastic job. The work orders are being completed on time. A lot of progress is being made since new management has taken over. Friendly faces...I love it!!!!! I'm not going anywhere no time soon.Property Manager Responded

Worst 2 years Living here
October 28, 2019Can never get a hold of anyone to fix the ac/ leak this was an issue for 2 YEARS one of my bathrooms was not accesible ,at all I’m glad I’m out of this place. I really wish it was different I really wish this was a good experience but that was not the case . Also yes roaches everywhere !Property Manager Responded

Roach attack
September 3, 2019Old management new management still had a roach infested problem. We had enough so we finished the contract with them and left but now they refuse to give us our deposit they are charging us cleaning fee and painting even though we left the apt in great condition we actually left it in better condition then they gave it to us. Please before you decide to rent from them make sure its the the right place for you and your loved ones.. Old reviews, New terrible Management.
April 22, 2019The new Property Manager Dennyse is confrontational and rude. She is the sole reason you should not move here. Accounting issues are looked over, maintenance is not a priority. My mission now is to deture anyone from living here so I can save them the terrible grief I have experienced since she's come into Management.Property Manager Responded

Poorly fixed with roach problems
January 1, 2019The actual apartments look nothing like the pictures/the model apartment they show you. Nothing. I have lived here almost a year and have gone MAYBE TWO days Total with I didn’t see a roach. Gross. They bring exterminators in but they things they do are not helpful, especially when other tenets that share your building refuse service. They do the absolute bare minimum to fix problems, if they bother fix them at all. We have many problems that were never fixed and the ones that were “fixed” to ...some degree were done after repeatedly reminding them over a period of months. They submit work orders as complete after a couple weeks without doing anything. When I say the apartments look nothing like what you’re shown it’s because they do shoddy patch jobs that they don’t bother making look nice. The neighbors are mostly nice with a few sketchy people who keep to themselves. There are many loud (and a couple rude) kids so if you live near the pool or the park expect that. The sidewalks and some portches flood when it rains (aka all the time).Property Manager Responded

January 11, 2017My husband and I have lived at La Maison At Lake Cove for over a year now. It is a fantastic place to live!! We enjoy living here very much. The apartment managers Kristin and Jesse are so professional and maintenance is so very helpful anytime a problem may arise. The property has been recently renovated and is a great safe place for families. I would highly recommend La Maison at Lake Cove to anyone looking for a nice place with friendly staff and great neighbors. I've never experienced such a ...great family oriented environment. Jesse and Kristin also provide entertainment throughout the year for adults and kids! They throw us parties with lots of food and refreshments and tons of prizes! Who could ask for a better place to call home!! This is my 5 star rating! Thank you to the wonderful staff of La Maison at Lake Cove for providing us with a safe and fun place to live!!!Property Manager Responded
