New management killed this place
February 29, 2024This used to be a wonderful place to live where no advertising was required because tenants all recommended their friends and family. The new management is trying to sprinkle glitter everywhere in order to raise prices, but they can hardly keep documentation in order. They've lost leases, the maintenance ticket system has been down multiple times, they say they need to come in to assess the apartment with no notice. They refuse to fix anything unless it could be legally held against them. They ...treat their wonderful maintenance men poorly (I get why some left). They promised to give tenants heaters for the bathrooms over 2 years ago and still nothing last I heard. They made tenants responsible for heat but the drafts are ridiculous. They are penny pinching, charging for things that older tenants used to get free. Another beautiful place turned to over-priced crap because of greed. No longer a diamond in the rough by any means. Not worth what you pay for
March 1, 2023To piggy back off of another review, this use to be a great complex. However after getting bought out by a new management company- they really ruined quality of life for residents. All utilities are electric and we have an electric bill of upward $500 every month. The windows are poor quality but we can’t afford to have the heat high. We are always cold. And to top it off, we have had hot water issues for over a year and it never seems to be permanently fixed. Horrible
January 30, 2022Since new owners took over in 2021 this is a horrible place to live. Grounds are unkept, laundry machines always out of order. But the worst is we are freezing. New owners replaced gas heat with inadequate electric heaters that we now have to pay for. Spending 300 dollars a month and still freezing. No heat in bathroom or kitchen. A Wonderful Place To Raise A Family
April 7, 2018I lived at Jeanne Marie Gardens from the time I was a baby until I was 10 years old. I loved living here. Some of my best and favorite childhood memories are from living here. September 29, 2016My wife and I lived at Jeanne Marie Gardens for three years and we loved it. The apartment was upgraded and clean with plenty of space for us. But if you need more, all the units come with a good size storage unit and a lock. From a maintenance stand point, Tino and his team were the best. The property was always well maintained. The few (very few) times I needed anything done in the apartment, his team handled within a day or two: every time. The staff in the leasing office might have been the ...best part. They work hard to be better than any leasing office I have ever worked with - and they are better. Every promise they made was kept. Had we not been relocating to PA, we may have never left. We received our security deposit back in just two weeks, with no surprise deductions. (We had asked what their expectations were of how we should leave the apartment. We listened.
