Awful
August 30, 2022Greedy, horrible horrible horrible management and maintenance requests will constantly be ignored. You have to serve a SIXTY day notice before your lease naturally expires or else they will continue to charge you. The worst apartment I’ve lived in by far. Don’t let the exposed brick and pipes fool you, you are living in a terrible built, “renovated” and managed building. RUN.Property Manager Responded
September 6, 2022We're disheartened to learn about your opinion of our community and team. We value polite, prompt communication and apologize if you feel you received anything other than our best efforts. We dispatched our maintenance contractors to your home multiple times to ensure the issues you reported were addressed. Our leasing agreement clearly states the requirement to provide 60-day notice if you do not wish to renew your lease. If we do not receive this notice, your lease is automatically converted to month-to-month. This is a common practice throughout the apartment industry and not limited to our management. A lease constitutes a binding legal contract, and we advise residents to review the terms thoroughly and mark important dates to avoid penalties and fees. We understand your frustrations and are sorry you feel this way regarding our leasing practices. Cool place. Wish I could say the same about management
June 13, 2022Upon our arrival in these units there were multiple things wrong. For example, dirty floors, leaking pipes (bathroom and kitchen), and a broken fridge. Unfortunately after 4 months it only got worse. Sorry to say it, but they never helped.Property Manager Responded
June 28, 2022We're sorry you are dissatisfied with the lifestyle you've found at our community. The team takes great pride in caring for our residents' needs, and we apologize if you feel our service is lacking. According to your maintenance request history, your refrigerator's ice maker was repaired, and a clogged shower pipe was cleared. We did not find a request related to leaking pipes. The odor in your home was originally reported on 6/7/22. Our team worked to replace the plumbing under your sink the same day in an attempt to rectify the issue. Once notified of the odor's persistence, our team investigated to identify other possible sources of the smell. There is no evidence of a sewer pipe bursting into your AC unit. The source of the smell was determined to be coming from an AC condensation line in need of a P-trap. Our vendor installed this trap on Tuesday, 6/14/22. We are glad this situation is resolved but disappointed you feel our service was not meaningful or prompt. We would also like ...to know which team member instructed you to call the health department, as action is a significant departure from any of our standard protocols. If there is anything further you'd like to discuss, please contact our office, and we will be happy to continue this conversation.

Industrial-chic loft apartments with historic charm and style
May 4, 2021If downtown loft living in a stylishly industrial building with contemporary appliances and design touches appeals to you, then Jemison Flats should be your next home! I adore my two bedroom unit because of its open space, tall ceilings, huge windows with fantastic city views, contemporary stainless steel appliances, and stylish urban decay design elements. It is the coolest place you will ever live, with the best restaurants, bars, parks, (and even grocery stores), within a short walking ...distance. The adjoining parking deck is extremely convenient, and there are a number of security features in the building that provide extra safety peace of mind. The amenities, including newly renovated gym and courtyard space, are also nice. Best of all, the other tenants in the building are extremely courteous and conscientious, and some have even become good friends. Finally, the leasing and property management office staff are professional, responsive, and always quick to care for their tenants needs. You can find no better place to call home in the heart of downtown Birmingham!Property Manager Responded
