Would do it Again
February 19, 2019It is with much regret that today will be my last day working in Snyder, Texas and staying at the best gated community property in these areas. I was sent on a job assignment for a duration of 9 months and after doing some research and upon arrival in asking locals, La Posada was to be home for the next 9 months. The apartments are beautiful inside and out, the landscaping is in great condition and maintained that way, the picnic and pool are in excellent shape. After reading some negative ...reviews (I wonder) were we living in the same gated community? I had zero to none maintenance issues with my apartment, but even the smallest issue was addressed and corrected if not the same day or the next. As far a management, Mrs. Sweet was a her surname suggests, she is always out to ensure your stay is a pleasant one and hassle free, great personality, I MUST add I never saw the pool dirty or further with "stuff floating on top", it was covered when it was required and my whole experience was a pleasant one with no complaints, the only complaint is that I will be leaving today, but rest assured if ever I am sent this way again La Posada Apartments will be my choice to call home for my duration there in a small community with a FIVE STAR gated community!!!!!!Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com
Great Apartments for a small town.
July 27, 2018Despite the negative reviews, I found Ms. Sweet to be cordial and efficient. Any problems with the apartment were fixed in a very timely manner. I did not have a problem with anyone associated with this apartment complex. I had guests over several times to swim and Bar-b-que and there was never a problem. I stayed in these apartments for 6 mths on a temporary job assignment and appreciated the way I was treated. Ms. Sweet, keep up the good work!Reseña de Apartments.com
Great apartments for a small town
July 9, 2018I lived at La Posada for 2 years and reviews about the manager are not at all true. She was a very nice lady and firm manager who wanted her property run properly. She took great pride in making sure this was a nice home for all who lived here. I was in the area for work but would love to live there again. In the 2 years I lived there, I never once saw the pool dirty-- it was closed and covered during the winter months.Reseña de Apartments.com
horrible management
March 15, 2017Mrs. Sweet is definitely not sweet. What is listed here is definitely not what your experience will be. If anything tears up and is brought to her attention all you get is 'ain't nothing wrong'. You have to fix it yourself. The pool is a dark green with gross stuff floating on top. The website says no smoking but Mrs Sweet herself smokes and leaves the butts all over the ground. Kids can't play in the playground area because people are smoking over there. she does not like kids at all so this ...place is definitely not kid friendly. they aren't allowed to do anything. All she does is walk around watching you and her husband sits at the playground area watching the kids while hes smoking also. Everyone likes being here once she leaves. No one is trashing the place and it's like we can get out and breathe once she's gone. It's like being in prison when she's here. She does not talk to you with any respect and makes you feel completely unwelcomed. This place needs a manager who doesn't talk down to you and who follows the same rules she requires you to follow.This could be a great place to live if she was a good person. September 16, 2015Let me just say I wouldn't even suggest these apartments to my worst enemy. Very poor service, no one is ever there to speak to in person and if you do have something that needs fixing you might as well do it your self because it will not get done by maintenance.
