Stay away
March 30, 2024Biggest issues are the people living there, apartment bugs and amenities. Cops being called to the complex what seems to be constantly, homeless people walking into the complex through wholes in the gates causing issues on the property and the residents. Buildings smell either gross or reek of weed. Other residents being obnoxious and on something in hallways. There are cockroaches in the hallways and end up in your apartment no matter how much you spray and prevent it from happening. There are ...RVs that park in the back of the complex parking lot with a bunch of dogs and people living there making the complex dirty and leaving trash. In all honesty never had issues with management, just the area isn’t the best, pretty sketchy and the rent is a lot cheaper than other apartment complexes so you’re getting what you pay for.Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com
Don't live here
January 22, 2024Peaceful living is a right. Management does NOTHING to inconsiderate neighbors whom have had the police called there MULTIPLE TIMES. Management will lie to you and say that they will take care of it but they never will because all they care about is money. They don't care about tenants. Maintenance takes forever if at all. Management hardly ever answers their phones. Almost everything is outdated. No lights in any of the bedrooms. Worst I've lived in
June 28, 2021Lived here for two years and majorly regretted it. Our apartment wasn't even move in ready as they were still fixing a leak in our bathroom ceiling. Then the black mold showed up, and all maintenance told us was that we needed to clean it ourselves or find a place for us and our cat to stay while they clean it. They also charged us to clean the mold after we moved out. Plus the janky old wall A/C unit barely worked, which ended up getting a bird's nest in the outside space between the top of ...the unit and the wall.... maintenance kept on telling us that it wasn't possible until we got bird mites from it. Bunch of liars
December 7, 2020Used to live here. Had to break the lease due to personal reasons. They said they'd charge me only for the days i was staying there. NOPE! They charged me the full months rent saying that it would be refunded. NOPE!! They kept it said it was for the damages. So ya they kept the deposit + my rent. I would have gladly payed for the damages if my rent was returned. I'm not mad about the money. I'm mad because they lied to me.Reseña de Apartments.com
Worst Property in the Black Hills
July 1, 2020From the minute you walk in the office you can disregard literally everything they have to say. Rules aren’t rules so much as suggestions that no one follows, the apartments are outdated and OUTRAGEOUSLY overpriced. Maintenance requests are a joke. The office hours on the window aren’t even accurate so I guess I should say disregard everything BEFORE walking in. They’ll jack up your rent and nickel and dime you for every cent they can get. Don't do it!!!
November 4, 2019RENTERS BE WARE!!! I would highly recommend that you find a different place to rent. The place is run poorly. There is absolutely no consistency with anything. Their maintenance was in my apartment without permission and doing work on my a/c (which was fine), they were in the wrong apartment. No one said anything about it. The toilets don't run properly, need so much work in the apartments. If you do go to look for a rental here, make sure you test EVERYTHING!!! My screen door was replaced and ...it still can't be used. The pool has been unusable the majority of the time I have been at the apartments. September 26, 2018I myself am trying to get out of there i go in and sign a lease and the call and say the have to change the lease after being told at the signing it was good now they want to charge me 10 bucks more a month but I have to sign a new lease so I feel their typo or miss calculation they should honor the lease that has been signed all ready this would be the second time they did this to meReseña de Apartments.com
Awesome Staff
September 13, 2015Short walking distance to Walmart. Good location to fast food, grocery, and gas stations. The staff are very accommodating and know everyone by name. Will fix any problem in under 24 hours. They have hung pictures for me and helped me move furniture. Great amenities such as a decent sized pool, hot tub, sauna, tennis and basketball courts, dog park, playgrounds, and gym facilities. Great hours to accommodate any ones schedules! Pet friendly buildings available and awesome walk out patios. Great ...place for families and adults as well. Helpful and welcoming neighbors. Very impressive
August 23, 2015We live at LaCrosse Estates in Rapid City. I have found the on site management to be very receptive, knowledgeable, cordial and easy to work with. Joely and Cheyenne are excellent and very responsive to any needs that we have. The apartment is in a very good location across the street from a Walmart, within 2 blocks of the I-90 exit and within a short distance of many shops and restaurants. There is an on site pool and hot tub that are very enjoyable and kept in very good condition.We have a ...small patio that we use to watch the sun set over the Black Hills I would strongly recommend LaCrosse Estates to anyone who needs a well kept, convenient and reasonably priced apartment n the Rapid City areaLeer MásReseña de Apartments.com
My Apartment/My Home
August 20, 2015After more than two years in my apartment, I still think I couldn't find a better place to live in Rapid City. I like the large well-lighted rooms, especially the open plan for living/dining/kitchen. It suits me when I am here alone but I can extend my table to seat 10 for special dinners. The double glass pane and door to the patio expands my living area. The nearby laundry facilities are so convenient. The swimming pool is a double bonus to me because it entices my granddaughters to ...visit more often. The planned social events,usually once a month, are always thoughtfully done. The sound-proofing between apartments is sufficient to keep noise to a bare minimum. I like living in a multi-generational setting. The staff has consistently been pleasant and prompt to attend to any needs or repairs I have reported. I was touched to receive a telephone call from the office checking to see if I was all right when I failed to bring in my newspaper for two days in a row.
