My wife and I can't say enough nice things about Lakemont Gardens. It seriously is a hidden gem, tucked away in a quiet community. It's incredibly convenient being in walking distance to Giant Eagle and close enough to I-79. Anything you'd need to do is right downtown in Bridgeville, Heidelberg, Washington, Robinson, or near South Hills Village. If you want to catch a baseball, football, or hockey game, you're only about 30 minutes to downtown Pittsburgh. For those looking for the bus line, the
...old Star City theater nearby is one of the stops. Or travel 20 minutes over to South Hills Village to grab the T. In terms of the upkeep of the apartment, the maintenance and office staff are incredibly friendly. The maintenance guy is a real stand up guy, and is always quick to make repairs. The owners are ALWAYS making improvements to their community as to make things feel fresh and up-to-date. Right before moving in, one or more of our appliances were replaced, and we even had new carpeting installed. In terms of the size of the apartment, our 2 bedroom affordably priced apartment is more than enough space. The master bedroom has two walk-in closets, we have our own laundry room in our unit, and private porch with sliding door facing the woods. An extra perk is the private community pool to lounge around at during the summer months! Definitely check it out! We couldn't be happier.
