The apartments are old and run down. No matter what maintenance does it will never be enough. They are infested with roaches and rats. Unfortunately the empty apartments are occupied by homeless people and there is nothing that is done to deter this from happening. We have gone without water on several occasions with no prior warning, we have dealt with no trash being picked up for weeks at a time, changes in internet and cable without prior warning and all that is promised in the lease has yet ...
to happen. There is no pest control or supplies to help fix and or beautify the property. What exactly does the rent go toward? If you have the option of making a different choice in a place to live I would chose an alternative to this property.

Car was shot up within first month on living here

If I could give a negative I would…My car was shot up less then a month of move in, did not have hot water for over a week, we had to bomb the apartment 6 times before move in and it still had roaches, there is sewage outside our apartment, after doing the police report I was instructed the regional manager would call us regarding the car being shot no one called us. I was told there were no issues in the apartments and it was safe but now told the manger has to rent apartments so she won’t tell ...

I live towards the back adea so I dont see alot of the action the front half might see being so close to other apartments. We were in a bind and need to move out quickly. Canada worked hard and digitally to get us into a unit. My mother is disabled and the plays a factor of what kind of unit we need. They found the perfect spot. Downstairs , easy accessible and big enough for my whole family. When calling maintenance for repairs they have been completed in a timely manner. There are 200+ units ...
in here so if it takes a day to get down here thats understandable. Since I've been here they have put a new roof up and repaved the parking lot. (Thank you!)for the price and area we found a little gem here. Thank you guys for being so friendly!

The worst ever

The apartments are not renovated. In fact they are poorly put together and old. The drawers don't close the floors have cracks. Maintenance uses the garages to do drugs and doesn't fix things in a timely manner at all. The woman was misleading and lied. Showed me one apartment then moved us into another with the promise that we could move after 6 months. People don't clean up their dog poop. And the parking is horrible. Gun shots at all times of the night. Horrible horrible place to rent.

The management is a joke they let anything move in. The worst are the drugs that management knows about and doesn't care. I told them they say its a police matter and when you call they want to call and talk crazy. I am a teneant :whom has been with Lakewood Estates. I never do bad reviews, but I am tired of being ignored. I pay my rent on time, and from Day1, Carlos did not do my move in correctly. No new carpet, red stain is still there, when they promised to shampoo, when I rushed to get lights cut on. They acted confused when I asked what happened to carpet being cleaned. Washer and dryer delivered almost 4 weeks later. Mice/ rodent and roach infestatation. They advertise AC and I have been without for ...
8 days. They gave mini window unit. I spent 1,300.00 to move in... Very disappointed. Fair housing will be called. They do not want to pay proper contractors. Sewage smell when AC unit cut on. Please do not let them fool you..

This is definitely not the safest place for kids but that is just default by the location. The apartments are large and inside is very decent. The new staff here are wonderful and they are doing their best to deal with a property that has been ran to the ground. Trash is everywhere but that is more of a tenant issue. If you want to pay high dollar for poor remodel this is your place! Forever being sold and resold because they need to be torn down. Roaches aren't the biggest problem but the racoons! though we have been thru several managers and we have had our share of maintenance issues, the staff at Lakewood has always been nice and courteous and have done their best to get all problems resolved. the apartments are large and have more of a house feeling than an apartment, i love living here and the rent iv very affordable for the space you are getting. i would recommend it to anyone!!!
