September 5, 2017The worst possible option for College Park housing. Your appliances will break several times per week, staff are terrible, the rooms are small and expensive, and they will do everything in their power to take your security deposit and more (my roommates and I were charged $140 each for "stained mattresses" even though we all slept with mattress covers. $100 for light paint touch-ups). Don't live here. They exist only to take your money and will take any and every opportunity to do so.Reseña de Apartments.com
Overpriced, Horrible management, Small rooms, Worst place to live in College Park!
June 29, 2017Starting with the rooms, they are pathetically small for the cost and are incredibly cramped. Be prepared to deal with broken appliances on a weekly basis. And when they do come to fix the appliances, half the time they never even fix the problem. Good luck getting them to replace an obviously broken machine (even when it breaks down 4-5 times in the span of a few weeks). The gym machines are usually broken for weeks, and its usually in a disgusting condition. The walls are paper-thin and ...security is basically non-existent meaning anyone has access to the building and there is constant vandalism/thefts that management refuses to address. Speaking of management, they might as well be non-existent until it comes to creating ridiculous fees and harassing their tenants (who they treat like absolute garbage). The incompetence combined with their rude, hostile behavior made living at the Landmark a nightmare. I cannot think of a single positive think about the Landmark and under no circumstances would I recommend living here.Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com
I could not imagine a worse place to live
June 28, 2017The landmark is the absolute worst apartment building in the college park area. Overpriced, broken appliances that are rarely fixed (even after multiple maintenance requests), and absolutely pathetic security. Most of the time there is no one even at the front desk (even though they claim they have security onsite 24/7, which is a complete and utter lie). There have been numerous breakins/thefts while I have lived there, and the management does not care. Speaking of management, I have never ...interacted with such a hostile and incompetent management team. From my past two years living there, they have shown that they do not care about their tenants or the premises. DO NOT LIVE HERE. If for some reason you choose to live here (worst decision of your life), expect multiple fees each month not spelled out in the lease agreement and the most incompetent staff you will ever interact with. June 28, 2017Worst college housing choice ever!!! Went through a lot of college living situations with kids--good and bad--but this was an unmatched negative experience. Nice amenities, but that's where it ends.
October 28, 2015Where to even begin. Yes, the apartment building itself is very nice. The units are modern, the lobby and work out facility are both some of the nicest I've seen in College Park (some background, I've lived in the View, CP Towers, and a house off Metzerott). But that's where anything positive about the Landmark ends. To put it bluntly, the Landmark is an incredibly poorly run apartment building. Never have I come in contact with a more unhelpful, incompetent, rude management. Where to even begin? ...I could talk about getting locked in, at 5 in the morning on my way to practice, the parking garage that I pay already too much per month to park in, only to hear the woman at the front desk apologize and tell me there was nothing she could do and no one she could call (not sure who forgot to tell the ONLY person at the desk what to do in case of an issue, but I digress). I could talk about how our washing machine broke not two weeks after moving in, growing mold in the two foot deep pool of stagnant water built up over the nearly two week period it took for anyone to take our maintenance request seriously. Or the fact that, despite being a near college graduates and adults in the eyes of most of the world, we were unable to get the moldy washing machine taken out of the apartment until my roommate had to have her dad call Travis (the manager) multiple times, despite the situation quickly becoming a health hazard for my roommate's severe mold allergy. I have no problem following rules, but I do have a problem following rules set forth by a management which lacks the capacity to enforce them. I have a lot of respect for people who's job it is to coordinate other people in order to keep something like this running. But I also have had a great deal of management experience myself, and I know that two of the most important things about management are: you are responsible for everything that happens under your watch, and you need to be able to recognize mistakes, apologize, and find a solution. Not as good as it seems
August 5, 2015It is supposed to be this amazing new apartment building, but there have been more problems then pros. It costs more then the other apartment buildings around but does not show for it. The rooms are very small. The customer service is the worst part. They almost never get back to you...ever. The payments are so ridiculous and the convenience fees are absurd. You would think that with a new place starting up they would have people available to really help people figure out everything. They offer ...almost no help and make it impossible to find any.
