    The staff are always amazing, especially the maintenance guys. They go above and beyond to make sure everything is fixed and working the best it can be. The office staff are always friendly and professional. There is a bit of a bug problem, but the complex has exterminators that spray regularly and a process for requesting individual unit attention. It’s a great price for the area and great service for a beautiful living space!

  • Rat and roach infestation.

    DO NOT MOVE TO THIS PLACE. I am a current resident and I am currently looking up legal ways to leave this place prior the end of contract. This is a rat and roach infested place. Management does not care. Call for pest control and nobody comes yet you pay monthly for pest service. Stay away for from this over priced hell! I wish someone had warned me before coming here so I am trying to help prospects out.

  • DO NOT MORE HERE

    You cannot use the sink in the kitchen because the it shares the drainage with the dishwasher which my cause a blockage and the whole apartment will be flooded. All the water from the sink will just be return to your kitchen floor. And no matter how much you complain, no matter how many times they come to "fix" it, you will for ever be mopping the kitchen and living room floor. Do the smart thing, go live somewhere else.

    This property isn’t worth your hard earned money! Of all the management companies that have acquired the property First Communties is the worst! The staff is rude, the renovations are terrible, there were several break-ins, and it’s filled with roaches. Please do not waste your time!!!!

  • Very unprofessional

    These people are extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate about an applicants time and efforts. I applied and basically wasted my money. I was in a time pressured situation due to my school and needed an apartment fast. The front desk lady, Britany, told me she would call me back but she never did. I kept reaching calling back and each time Britany or her manager Sheila, would make some excuse and say “we are working in your file and we will give you a call back” but never follow through with ...
    it. If for ANY reason they didn’t want to give me the apartment, the least they could have done is just say it! Instead of giving me false hope and waste my precious time while I’m already on a time pressed situation. After reaching back about 9 times, and hearing the same message of “we will call you back,”I gave up and they never called me back. They took all my info, even my personal bank statements to prove if I can pay the rent. And then they don’t follow up. A total waste of time and effort. Very very inconsiderate, they do not have any basic courtesy and are very unprofessional, please do not consider them. This shows their character, and you do not want to live in a community with such characters managing your stay. I’m not here to defame anyone, I am reporting exactly what occurred.

    I have been so happy the last month with my decision to move here. I was nervous after a bad experience at my last place, but everything has gone perfect since I moved in. I did have a problem with my dishwasher but the maintenance guy took care of it. They even called me to make sure everything was working. So I definitely have to give it to them for that. I have been in a couple times to pick up packages and all of them are always nice to talk to. So I'm glad to give them a great review!

  • Clean, Beautiful renovations

    I recently moved here but the new apartments are beautiful, staff , and maintenance are very friendly. I can't wait to see when it is all finally complete. Most of the negative reviews I have seen are from tenants who have been there since before new owner. Thankfully, i moved in recently so I did not have to deal with loud construction/ maintenance workers everywhere. The application and the move in process was so fast and hassle free. I highly recommend this complex. The price is worth the nice ...

  • Inconsiderate!

    They don't even tell you when they will be renovating your apartment..the renovators use the closer parking making residents park further away from their building. I wouldn't recommend anyone moving here.. they also work all day and the noise levels are ridiculous..

  • Do not consider, they are Inconsiderate

    Renovating while current tenants are in the apartments. Came home from work one day around midnight to find a strong odor from the renovations and the carbon monoxide alarm going off. Additionally, due to the renovations, other maintenance issues were caused. Told it was a coincidence that the alarm sounded and should just take out the batteries. I also asked if the fumes were dangerous since I'm pregnant, they said no. I asked them to please write me a letter confirming that the products used in ...
    renovations would not be harmful to the growth of my child. I had to call 5 times, write a letter, and wait a week before any of the maintenance issues were resolved! I still have not received any communication about the toxicity of the products used in renovations. No explanation of the carbon monoxide monitor going off, no note, and no communication of if the renovations will continue to occur with us living in the apartment. Customer care is definitely not a priority.

  • A Lovely Place To Live

    My favorite thing about my quaint little apartment building is that it surrounded by trees and Azalea bushes. It makes walking my dogs feel like a hike through nature! The managers are laid back and helpful, and the maintenance men are there when I need them to fix any problems that I may have - like the light that didn't work because I was flipping the wrong switch :-/ (very understanding guys!). We have a beautiful swimming pool area with lounge chairs, a grill, and dining tables, and a ...
    fountain and hot tub (thumbs up!). Also, a gym is available for use - an amenity I should probably take more advantage of :) . It's a great place to live!

  • Cozy, but a little outdated.

    This is mine and my fiancé's first apartment. It's been great so far! One bedroom, one bathroom, laundry room, dining area, kitchen, huge living room, patio/balcony, and extra storage closet. (720 SQ/$625.) Pros: There's plenty of space, a huge walk in closet, and even a fireplace. There are washer/dryer hookups as well. Our bedroom has a ceiling fan, large mirrored doors on the closet, and french doors that open up to a private balcony. Even a dishwasher! It's a very nice for it to be a one ...
    bedroom/one bathroom apartment. The location can't be beat. We are a quick drive or bike ride from many stores, restaurants, and even the movie theater. Though I can't speak for the rest of the neighborhood (because our apartment is located in one of the front buildings) I can say the neighbors below and around us are very nice. Staff and maintenance are very prompt and friendly. They do send out monthly newsletters with important dates, phone numbers, recipes, etc. They also have pest control quarterly. The only bugs that I see are the occasional moths that come in when I come home at night. Bugs are never an issue. Cons: Like the title says, it's cozy, but it's outdated. Popcorn walls and ceilings, for example. All of the included appliances are older, as well. The fridge is okay, but it's a little small. The microwave included is from the 80's. There's also no assigned parking, which is a little frustrating because I work evenings and come home anytime between 12 - 1 in the morning and hate having to walk from the next building's parking lot. There's a fitness center on site, too, but again, could use some updating. Overall, it's a very nice apartment for people who are just starting out on their own. You get what you pay for.
