Don't Live here!!!
September 23, 2023The apartment is very poorly managed. My A/C works partially. This summer when the heat index was 90 + my apartment was no less than 85. Maintenance stated " there wasn't anything wrong with our system and we should just use a window unit to deal with it". The entrance gate rarely works, and when it does the office doesn't give majority of the residents keys; you end up with a bunch of cars tailgating through the gate, or speeding through the exit area. Our walls are paper thin, so you will hear ...residents above and below you at all hours of the night. There are always spiders crawling from all areas of my apartment, Maintenance says they can't do anything about it. The countertops in the "newly" renovated apartments peel extremely easy, so you can't really clean them. Stairs on several units have collapsed recently. To top it off, They expect me to pay a 20 % increase in rent when the lease renews and continue to pay a 50% higher utility bill for needing to run an A/C window unit at night just to sleep. Lastly, There has been an extreme increase in police presence, loud music, and criminal activity going on in the complex.Property Manager Responded

Horrible
March 4, 2023My experience has been horrible and I haven’t even been given the chance to move in. My boyfriend and I paid for a first floor apartment to move in on March 17, 2023. We were rushed into moving forward in the process and today out of no where without any given notice we find out that apartment management switched our apartment out due to the fact that they sold us an apartment that someone was getting evicted out of and that person paid so now we’re jacked up. The management has put us in a very ...inconvenience position and that is NOT the way you should conduct business. Our issue hasn’t been resolved and I honestly feel as if it was brushed under the rug.Property Manager Responded

RUN!!! THE RENT INCREASES EACH MONTH!!!
January 20, 2023When I moved into my apartment I noticed that there were mold on the windows, insects in my apartment and leaks in the kitchen ceiling. The apartment is way overpriced and not worth it at all. Some of the higher up regional managers with are rude and only care about making money off residents by overcharging every month. Please think twice before moving here, the biggest mistake of my life!! I can't wait until my lease is up!!Property Manager Responded

Maintenance and Office Staff
August 22, 2021I have stayed in Oak Hollow for 13 months. The maintenance has been out to my apartment numerous times to fix the A/C and they do is put a band-aid instead of replacing it. I have put in multiple requests for my water heater/plumbing and all they do is temporary fix. We suppose to be in a safe community I NEVER see the courtesy officer but gets a email saying we are having recent break-ins. The office staff doesn’t to much care for the residents as well because when you address your concerns it ...pushed off. I do not recommend this property.Property Manager Responded

Horrible Place
January 21, 2018I can’t even begin to list all of the issues with this community. The gate hasn’t worked for years and they have been claiming they were getting it fixed for the past couple of months. They constantly fail to get trash collected and create dump-like mounds of trash around the compactor. The apartment my fiancé lives in (he won’t write a review for fear of repercussions) has to have refrigerant added to the A/C unit every month during the summer. Apparently since they can’t fix it they won’t ...replace it. They did an annual HUD and fire inspection and since then the hot water will not remain on for the length of a shower. Maintenance was contacted and they claimed to have fixed it - they didn’t. (This happens often with maintenance requests.) I’ve only listed issues from the past 4 weeks! The Wonderful Amazing Oak Hallow
September 16, 2015I currently live in the amazing Oak Hallow apartments in Southaven Ms. I want to shout and scream because the staff is so amazing. I was struggling to move into my apartment and they helped me through the entire process. With their kind and generous help I was able to get my daughter enrolled back in school after an emergency move. I went from live in a hotel with my children to getting an apartment in this lovely community. After signing my lease I notice some issue in the apartment I contacted ...the manager Danny and he had repairs made within a matter of days. I wish I was able to do something special for the staff because they have been such a blessing to my children and I. Easy living
July 27, 2015I have lived in my apartment home for almost two years. I was very impressed with the area and the privacy of the apartments. The size of the rooms is what I expected, while the upgrades where better than anticipated. I enjoy my private patio as well as the many other amenities provided. The staff addresses my issues in a timely manner. The apartment complex is conveniently located near the interstate. Prime shopping, dining, and entertainment venues are minutes away. January 22, 2014I have been living here for about three years. As with any place, you have your negative & your positive. I can definitely say I have all positive to say about the community. Management is great & always avaliable & the office staff is always available to meet my concerns & needs. Our community is constantly being improved, renovated, & updated since the arrival of the current property management. We are a gated community & safety is no issue.
