Got my Security Deposit back in Full
January 23, 2019I moved out 4 months ago, bought a house. Jason came the same day I moved out, inspected my apartment which I cleaned and left as I rented and I received a full refund with interest. I lived in the apartments for 4 years and when I read these reviews I honestly believe someone is just out to hurt the new owner. This is a very quiet place to live and I have never had an issue in my 4 years with anyone or any manager. Thank You Old Carriage House.Reseña de Apartments.com
Tranquil apartment with some management issues
April 25, 2018Pros: quiet neighborhood, maintenance requests are answered very quickly, the renovated apartments come with decent appliances Cons: bad water quality, but that's just central New York; rodents (we had mice because there was a huge whole in the wall under the kitchen sink); no lease or management office; manager is hard to reach; ownership/management has changed hands multiple times in the past few years without explanation to tenants, only a letter saying that it did and it's signed ...anonymously, so if you have lived at Old Carriage for over three years, be prepared to not get your security deposit back even if you do everything by the book; thin wall and squeaky floorsLeer MásReseña de Apartments.com

April 13, 2018Ok, so I live at Old Carriage House and saw the "REVIEWS", somehow, it strikes me as odd that someone would write a review about evictions, lease renewals and other management type activities that us as tenants would not even have knowledge about unless an agenda was submitted with that review. The apartments are a nice place to live, they are affordable and quiet. Are they perfect?-no, could some things be done differently?--sure, but I will tell you one thing.......I have never had an issue ...with Jason, he has always treated me with respect and dignity. I have seen him at the project at all hours and the negative review where they seem to be critical of Jason was clearly a political thing as the other people mentioned as wonderful people want Jason's job. As far as moving out, if your not prepared to do things by the book and the lease you signed why is that a bad thing?--so, if you want a nice place to live and are a person that will take care of your apartment, not have parties and know you will keep a nice neat apartment, then this is a great place for you, if you are going to disturb tenants, be noisy and not live by your signed word, live elsewhere, I live in Building K, I have no desire to live elsewhere.Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com
Pay more to live somewhere better
January 8, 2018It is a quiet place for the most part but the thin walls makes it feel like you have a lot of roommates. Management could use a lot of improvement like keeping up to date on renewals and actually evicting people who are over a year behind on their rent. There is no leasing office. The manager Jason has two sides to him so be prepared and when you move out, do everything by the book. Alissa and the maintenance guys were very quick to respond and were polite. Old Carriage Apartments Review
May 10, 2017I must tell you, I initially had doubts, I moved in in 2014, was very discouraged at how long it took to get any work done ---when the new owners took over things have been much better. I called Jason about a door handle in my apartment and he was at my place within 25 minutes, fixed it and left...............now we actually have a professional cleaning service and some responsible people working............this complex is very quiet and quaint.........it is perfect for those who want peace, ...relaxation and the workers are friendly and I am a happy camper now!!!Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com
