Worst experience I’ve ever had renting.

Super old buildings with heaps of issues, and management that doesn’t want to deal with it. Went 2+ weeks with no AC during the hottest weeks of the summer. Cockroach infested when we moved in. Half of my entire apartment didn’t have power in two weeks, meaning no kitchen or oven, no washer/dryer. During the coldest week of January we have no heat or hot water. The front office said I’m basically out of luck until an electrician can get here sometime within a week. Couldn’t even provide a space ...
heater. Cockroaches still are a problem. Nothing in any of the bathrooms was sealed properly, letting mold grow around our shower and completely destroying multiple mats and shower curtains. Leasing lady is always condescending on the phone and in person, refusing to apologize or even acknowledge us in any way. Now they are charging us an extra 60 days rent with no former notice, because we didn’t know to let them know we were not renewing the lease. And it’s our problem because we didn’t read the fine print on the lease. They sent it directly to collections without even reaching out to try to collect payment. This was a NIGHTMARE place to live. STAY FAR AWAY
