Would NEVER recommend
January 3, 2026Many buildings have busted foundations that make the walls paper thin were you can hear everything in nearby apts. Walls are also cracking from the inside outward making it easy for roaches in the walls to pour into apts from under the sinks and dishwasher. The crumbling foundations have also been causing major pipe issues with the plumbing. I had black mold in all my air vents from a leaky dinosaur of an air conditioner unit they refused to replace. Black mold was behind my toilets too. I ...would NEVER recommend this place. I will be taking legal action against them soon for poor living conditions and several violations including violating my lease. The worst place I ever lived
October 4, 2025Do not rent here! I was there for 5 years and ended up having to sue them over the roach infestation and the plumbing issue. Turns out when you get code enforcement involved, their head of maintenance knows the inspector for this district personally, and gets a fairly automatic pass. They lied and fabricated evidence in the court proceedings, attempting to paint me as dirty and blame me for an infestation problem that affected the entire complex, including buildings not even attached to mine. ...They showed photos of an apartment that wasn’t even mine in the courtroom and openly lied to the judge. Even after being awarded money in the lawsuit against them, they billed me for the amount they had been ordered to pay me! Absolute nightmare
December 26, 2023They’ve known about the roach infestation for at least 3 years. In that time the rent has doubled but I haven’t seen an exterminator even once. And don’t get me started on the other repairs they don’t make.Reseña de Apartments.com
Worst apartment complex!
July 25, 2022This place is the worst. My wife, I and my son moved here a few years ago. We were told all units have a washer/ dryer hookup. That's not true, not only do they not all have units, we got one without. Half the time, half the washers/dryers in the complex laundry room don't work. I know someone who lives in the back building and for over 6 months, 2 of the apartments back there had broken out windows, with boards just laid against them. I have pictures of the dumpsters absolutely ...overflowing. The pool! Lol... the year before last, the pool never opened. It needed work done to it. Instead of doing it during the off season, they did it in the middle of the summer. No pool that year. The year before, it didn't open until July and was open less than a month. Because the paint was chipping. Because the maintenance man painted the pool with the wrong paint. Really?!? This year, the pool didn't open until July 14th. It's been open about 2 weeks. Guess what? I just got a call from a neighbor that is closed. Yet again. Because the pump is broken. The maintenance man told her he's ordering a new one today or tomorrow. It takes less than 5 minutes to order it. But today or tomorrow. Then they'll have to wait for it to arrive. Then it actually has to be installed. Which around here means the pool will be closed at least a few weeks. And speaking of which, the pool furniture! Every single lounge chair is missing screws and the material is all ripped. None of the tables have unbrellas anymore. It's supposed to be a gated community, but the front/ back gates are constantly broke. Then eventually they get fixed and within a week, one or both are broken again. This is my last straw. I don't care how bad the rental market is right now. August 16, 2017Coming to Parkhaven was the most easiest experience I ever had. The customer service was VERY friendly/ The environment is quiet and everything is MOST efficient along with affordable. The only bad experience you could have is not following the rules. If you are looking for you first apartment this would be ideal. Honestly, I have no complaints....I'M MORE THAN SATISFIED..... August 30, 2016I've been renting at Parkhaven (use to be Lions Head) just under a year, and we enjoy living here. We rent a two-bedroom, which is affordable, nice and roomy, with a semi-private backyard area. The staff is very friendly, remember our names, and are usually quick to fix anything that needs attention (1-2 days). The apartment grounds are kept clean, which we enjoy.
